With ten years of experience as a cooling specialist under my belt, there are issues that property owners experience that are similar to most customers.
One of such issues is the uneven temperature on your property.
My grandad’s house had the same issue. He found that the rooms on the first floor apart from the bathroom were colder than the rooms on the ground floor. He thought it was the way the house was built and never thought of consulting a cooling expert. It got so bad last spring that he resorted to staying on the first floor as it’s cooler. One time when I went to visit, he told me about the issue he was facing and I called the local HVAC business to schedule an air conditioner tune-up. Grandad had recently replaced his heat pump with a new air conditioning system. It was a new contractor who did the installation of the new mini split air conditioner and had not further advised grandad of how to solve the issue with uneven temperatures when he mentioned it. The technicians came the following day and first, they checked the duct sealing and also checked the HVAC ducts for any blockage. The professional then proceeded to install the zone control system that split the house into multiple zones controlled by various thermostats. The zones are connected to a central system that is controlled by another main temperature control. Once the new system was installed, the uneven temperature issue was resolved and the indoor air quality was maintained. Grandad was very happy with the outcome and at least now he would at least access all the corners of his house knowing he can just adjust the temperature to suit him.
