The thermal fuse went out in my local dryer

I dislike having to go to the laundromat, back when I lived at my seasoned apartment, my associate and I were not allowed to have washers and dryers inside of our units.

And there was only one washer and dryer on each floor, and I could never get a load in even if I tried.

So more often than not I did not have a option and could only take my laundry to the laundromat. And the laundromat was severely expensive, even back then. A big load of clothes takes 5 to $7 to wash just in the washing device nowadays. And that’s not even considering the cost to dry it. One of the most important things about the home I am renting right now is the clothes washer and dryer. I don’t have to take my laundry to the laundromat knowing that I have both of these appliances in my laundry room. However the dryer stopped working the other day and I couldn’t get a hold of my building owner. He eventually told me he would try to buy a new one, however it would take a week to get it substituted. To avoid going to the laundromat, I decided to try to maintenance the clothes dryer myself. I figured out that it wasn’t heating the clothes respectfully. There was an issue with the thermal fuse that determines how much heat the clothes dryer needs while it runs. The form of thermal fuse prevents the clothes dryer from overheating while in normal use. It was a $30 part and I substituted it myself. Now the clothes dryer is heating up again respectfully like it’s supposed to.
