Waking up in his new bedroom is almost like being on a trip. My brother has a coffee pot right in his new space that he sets every night. So, he always wakes up to the smell of freshly brewed java and sunshine streaming through the new window of his room. Without getting out of bed, my brother can adjust the ductless heat pump to give him the exact quality heating and air he needs depending on the season. Yesterday was hot and charming so my brother was able to take his coffee out on his private deck. That would be the deck that sits just beyond the french doors. Seriously, my brother did something fantastic with this new addition. Actually, it was an answer that he had to come up with to keep his kids from killing each other. The brother and sister had been sharing a room since they were babies. They are only two years apart and my brother had hoped they’d be able to continue to share a room inside the central air conditioning of the house. That failed miserably and it was clear that they had to have more space. There was no way he was buying a bigger home with the prices out there. So the only thing that truly made any sense was to add onto his existing home. Thank goodness my brother made the right call. Not only are the kids now happily in their own kitchen but they have their own space and heating and cooling. Since the Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment couldn’t handle this much air volume, my brother opted to go with a ductless heat pump in his new bedroom. It’s simply awesome and he delights having his own heating and cooling. It truly does feel sort of like a trip.
