I never easily expected that all of us would have our heating method quit working on us in the middle of the winter, however it happened to us this past winter.
It wasn’t any fault of our own because all of us consistently kept up with correct Heating, Ventilation & A/C service & tune-ups.
The heating method was correctly taken care of! Unluckyly, all of us l gained that somebody in the section slammed into a powerline pole knocking it over & causing the power to go out in our area… Since the power was off, the gas furnace was unable to light up since it uses power for the igniters. In a case appreciate that, it would have been preferable to have a gas furnace that used a pilot light, however nope, all of us didn’t have that, then fortunately, all of us do have a fireplace & so all of us instantly got a bunch of firewood together & got a fire started in the fireplace. All of us kept that fireplace roaring the whole time the power was out. I was so thankful when the power finally came on early in the day as the professionals were able to get the power back online. It was kind of a frightening situation, however it would have been so much worse if all of us didn’t have a fireplace. After that bad experience, I decided to have a backup generator installed in the home so that all of us never go so long without power again in the future. I’m also thinking about having solar panels installed in the near future, so that all of us have additional security when it comes to having power to our home.
