When all of us retired down south, the heat & humidity weren’t exactly a shock.
All of us knew for sure that July through September came with a lot of heat. But there is a difference between knowing something as a fact & experiencing it. So the first few summers, all of us just poured on the Heating as well as Air Conditioning cooling. It was unquestionably all that all of us felt all of us could do in order to manage this sort of heat & humidity. However, all that air conditioner doesn’t come cheap. While I was ecstatic to be free of the Heating as well as Air Conditioning heating costs once all of us moved down here, I was running up big Heating as well as Air Conditioning cooling bills now. And that seemed pretty counter intuitive to me. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning heating up north where all of us lived & raised a family was essential to survival. While all of us tried to split costs & prepare the house in order to save on Heating as well as Air Conditioning heating costs, you simply had to have it. Well, that’s tplot down here but to a lesser degree. Of course, through the summer time down here without air conditioner would be foolish & could prove to be quite dangerous as well. But, all of us were using so much Heating as well as Air Conditioning cooling that all of us weren’t changing to the heat at all. So this year, we’re decreasing that behavior. All of us didn’t go right for the temperature control to flip to air conditioner once the temperatures started rising this Spring. And we’re going to keep the inside only 15 degrees cooler than the outside throughout the summer. This will keep the Heating as well as Air Conditioning cooling costs down significantly while allowing us to unquestionably acclimate to our new environment.
