When we got sent home from the office I worked in at the outset of the pandemic, I was surprised.
I guess I easily didn’t understand the gravity of the virus plus how serious the entire situation was.
That is a tendency of mine. Seeing everything glass half full can end up fooling a woman now plus again. But I also have to admit that I wasn’t really frustrated about having to leave that office. Where we are, there just isn’t much Wintertide weather plus the heat pumps can take a break. But once the Springtime rolls around, the temperature start popping plus the need for Heating and A/C cooling grows. The problem was that the old office had some pretty old commercial Heating and A/C equipment. And I was sort of blissful to not have to face another summer time covered in sweat all morning because the air conditioning couldn’t keep up with the un-even temperatures outside. I got to work that summer time in my own air conditioning plus while it was better than the office, it still wasn’t all that great. I had taken over a storage room at the end of the condo as my office. But it was sizzling out there. So I had the Heating and A/C professionals install a ductless heat pump out there plus wow, what a difference that made. I’ve never been more comfortable at work in my life. The benefits of toiling from home were privacy plus good Heating and A/C cooling. This resulted in the best task performance of my job. When the office reopened, the bosses had no problem with myself and others toiling remotely plus only coming in for mandatory meetings.
