I didn't want to wait three more days

I hate waiting for things to happen! I’m not the type of guy to sit around and wait, even when it is necessary.

I called a gas furnace repair supplier in January, because the machine was making an odd noise, however the repair technician told me that everything was fine. The noise was nothing that I needed to be concerned about, so I stopped stressing out every time I heard the odd sound. Then last week, the noise started to get louder. It was so loud that I finally contacted the same heating repair service. I told the man on the phone that the same problem was occurring and I needed a service tech immediately, however he did not have anyone until the next morning. It was already after seven so I waited until the next morning, and after the repair corporation told me that I had to wait more than two more days for the gas furnace parts to arrive, I got upset and irritated. I did not understand why they did not have the parts that I needed. My gas furnace was only several years old. Surely they were servicing machines much older than mine. I complained about the time frame for the parts and the manager of the repair supplier offered me a 10% discount on the service fees. It wasn’t a big discount, however at least the guy recognized that my complaints were legitimate. That made me feel a lot better about paying for the gas furnace repair. I got a warranty on the services, and I should not have any problems with the gas furnace for the rest of the season.
