For generations, the men in our family have all been sizable time hunters.
And this goes back a really long ways.
But this sort of came to a screeching halt when it came to our generation. I wasn’t the only boy in the family to find hunting not so great. The start, I did not adore having to leave the comfort of Heating as well as A/C heating to go hunt. Being up in some tree sit instead of inside where the gas gas furnace was running was not our proposal of a good weekend. However, I did like going out to the hunting lodge. It’s been in our family for many generations. Since the current generation is not all that much into the regular male hunting trips, all of us made some renovations. I got together with our siblings as well as our cousin’s in order to figure out what all of us wanted the future of the hunting lodge to be. It needed some labor so I thought that while all of us were doing that, all of us would substitute some comfort areas in the location as well. There is now some good furniture as well as all of us substituted the dining room with all the necessary appliances. The wood stove stayed as the primary heating source but all of us added current residential Heating as well as A/C component as well. We had an Heating as well as A/C professional come all the way out to install a series of ductless heat pumps. These deliver in the Summer weeks which really does make a difference. The hunting lodge is a family treasure. And while there really isn’t any hunting these afternoons, all of us all like being up there. Having the ductless heat pumps really make all of that so much better.
