When I had the new Heating and Air Conditioning proposal installed in our new home, the two of us also chose a Smart Thermostat to go with it.
There was an app that went with the thermostat that provided us the ability to check the temperature in the house when the two of us weren’t at home.
The two of us could set the thermostats in individual rooms, plus see if there were any malfunctions in the Heating and Air Conditioning system. The best section was that if the two of us were on trip, they programmed the Heating and Air Conditioning company’s phone number into the thermostat. Any problems that arise would alert the Heating and Air Conditioning company plus they could make the repairs before anything happened. I was cheerful the two of us had this precaution installed in our thermostat when the two of us made the choice to go on trip last winter. The two of us went to the mountains for a week-long ski trip. While there, the two of us got a text from the Heating and Air Conditioning company that there was a concern with the oil furnace plus the Heating and Air Conditioning company had already taken care of the situation. The bill would be mailed to us plus the two of us could pay it at our convenience. I couldn’t suppose it when I got the bill for the repairs. I thought the two of us still had a warranty on our oil furnace, plus I didn’t expect all these charges. When I looked at the bottom line, I laughed. It showed the cost if I hadn’t had an extended warranty plus then an N/C after it. I called the Heating and Air Conditioning company plus told them I got the bill plus thanked them for their quick service. Along with the warranty, I had a maintenance agreement that provided myself and others priority plus they did not put myself and others in the queue with people who were just requiring service.
