I knew mom was getting up in age, and she was having a difficult time getting around! I had recently divorced and had a three-family room, two-bathroom ranch home! She asked if she could transport in with me if she sold her house. She would put all the currency in a bank account with both our names, and every one of us could use the currency for any repairs I needed for the home and for household expenses. I had to provide this a lot of thought, because mom had a lot of special needs. I didn’t mind forfeiting our master family room with the en suite washroom, however I would need to make the washroom handicapped friendly for her. I already knew I was going to need a up-to-date oil furnace and I was planning on installing central air conditioning system, however I would need to install zone control with mom here. If I agree, I’ll entirely also install a smart control unit. I would not need to worry about her leaving the control unit set at eighty all day long because I could use our PC and reset the control unit whenever I saw it was up that high, but after a week, I called and told her what work I needed to do to the house, and she was so glad she was crying.
