My wife and I took the kids to the lake this summer and we were there for a week.
The kids spent most of the time outside by the lake.
We had a couple of kayaks and paddle boards. There were also a lot of other kids at the lake and they made lots of friends. One day the kids were down playing by the lake and my wife and I heard the kids screaming. Our son and daughter came running up to the house and there was blood all over their hands. I didn’t have any idea what was happening and I was worried that someone was hurt badly. Jack was hit in the face by a stick and it busted one of his teeth and knocked another one right out. He needed an emergency dentist to fix the problems and we were hours from our home and regular family dentist. I called our family dentist and told him that we were up by the lake and I asked if he could recommend a dentist office where we could take Jack to have the emergency services performed. We were lucky to find a great family dentist that even took our insurance. The emergency dentist was open 24 hours a day. We had to drive about 45 minutes from the lake to get to the emergency dental service office, but they were really nice and very friendly and warm to my son. They made him feel very at ease when he was really freaking out about losing his tooth and having a busted lip and face.
