I suppose I mentioned before that I got my electricity bill for the past few months and that it was over $600.
I live in a relatively small place and last year I paid about $250 for the same period of time over the hot months.
I suppose last Summer was even hotter than this warm season! The power rates have gone up a huge amount and it makes you afraid to turn on the air-conditioning in the hotter months, even when it’s blazing warm outside and you’re dripping with sweat in your place. It should not be this way and they have to find some kind of new method for cooling us down that does not cost a significant amount of money. There must be a way to utilize the wind, water, or something from the Earth to cool everybody down, and I suppose it’s just a matter of time until they crack the code. The only people that are ecstatic when you turn on your air conditioning equipment are the people that run the power plants and the power companies, and all of that money honestly goes into their pockets in the end and I suppose they are being somewhat greedy. And I’m sure that the presidents and owners of these power companies have some actually big houses that they have to support, and it’s us that is paying for those places to be honest. So, hopefully the Heating and A/C industry will solve the drawback soon and then we don’t have to worry about paying money every time we turn our air conditioning equipment on while in the summertime heat.
