It’s always pretty nice to get your Heating plus A/C appliance tuned up for the coming seasons, especially if it has not been used in a long while.
It can be dirty or it could have concerns that you don’t know about, so it’s great to have somebody come out and check it out to get everything up to speed, so that you’re not stuck in the heat or freezing inside your own dwelling for the whole season.
I think it’s a pretty fantastic idea to have some kind of alternate heating and cooling for the dwelling, such as a mini split AC or a small radiant space heater. You never know when the main HVAC appliance is going to go out, and if you don’t have some kind of other HVAC appliance as a backup then you may be very uncomfortable for a long time. Sometimes these Heating plus A/C companies get so busy while in the seasons that it can take weeks for them to come out and help you with your Heating plus A/C appliance. This is especially true when you live in a small town like me and there is nothing else around for hours and hours of driving! We have multiple local businesses in town, but I think we only have a single Heating plus A/C appliance company that services everyone in this town. When it gets absolutely freezing or absolutely sizzling they get very busy and occasionally you can be on a long waiting list to get your appliance serviced or repaired. If you stay ahead of the game, then you will never have a complication with staying comfortable in your dwelling while in the sizzling or the freezing seasons.
