- She wanted to buy the window A/C component from the hardware store, although I wanted to buy the device from an online retailer.
Both of us looked at a lot of unusual products online and actually found a used heating and that was in pretty superb shape. The woman only wanted $100 for it and the retail price on the heating and cooling device was actually twice that amount. My hubby thought all of us were getting a superb deal too, but she tried to blame me when the situation went south. The heating and worked for a day and the actually next day it stopped. It never worked again. My hubby tried to make repairs, however nothing that she did seemed to work. He’s a pretty handy guy, so I guess she would have been able to figure out the problem. I decided to contact the lady that sold the device to us. My hubby said there was actually no way that the woman was going to deliver us back our cash. I wanted to prove our hubby wrong and show him that people are generally good, so I decided to make the call. I e-mailed the woman and she did not respond, so I actually made the PC call. Her fiance answered the PC and I guess she was actually the reason why she decided to refund our cash. I was thrilled that she did, however our hubby still believes that she did not have to deliver us a refund in that situation.
