Surely there is really only this one life we get to live. And to take that thought a bit further, each moment is really all that we have in life. This is a new mantra for me. Honestly, for the 1st time in my life I am coming to understand just what having one life to live absolutely means. I think that working so much inside the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning of my expensive office stole some of my perspective. I am not going to get it into regrets about my choices. But for me, I would have had enough of that sort of life. By the time I was in my mid fifties, I had the swank corner office with my own control unit. This was really something for me and I had worked a lot to attain that level. And having my own Heating and Air Conditioning control components was pretty expensive. But when I look at it now, it all seems so empty. All that hard work, energy and sacrifice to just have more stuff and better Heating and Air Conditioning in my office felt empty. I just could not do it anymore and I finally walked out of the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning unit and left it to somebody else. I knew it was going to be interesting and life was going to come with many variations now. I was also no longer married so it was just me and the rest of my life. I replaced the old Heating and Air Conditioning equipment in my new apartment in order to have a fantastic room. The ductless heat pump in my condo office is just fantastic. I am loving being able to do some freelance consulting and teaching a bit about my industry at the local City College. My life is much simpler now however I still do like that fantastic Heating and Air Conditioning level inside my office.
