It’s been 3 decades since I got married to my spouse, and we have been blessed with three kids.
They’re all grown up now, and live their own lives.
When the last child flew the coup, I chose to go back to work. I am a licensed registered nurse, but I took time off from work to raise our kids. My spouse runs an electrical installation and repair business in the city. And it has been doing really well. He started the business soon after we got married. So, it made sense for me to stay at home and make sure the kids were good. I always knew I’d be back to work, and it finally happened. We live in an amazing beach house that my spouse and I purchased about a decade ago. This house is wonderful and offers the most amazing views of the ocean. About a month ago there were signs that we had to get an HVAC upgrade. That summer, we hired the HVAC professional 3 times to repair our cooling system. It kept failing and the HVAC professional had to exchange certain parts. When winter came, the issue was the same. It was then that the HVAC professional informed us it was time for an HVAC upgrade. Otherwise, we might end up without any heating or cooling in the house. Since I was working double shifts, my spouse chose to be at home when the HVAC professional came by our beach house to upgrade the HVAC system. We have always worked as a team and I’m so happy to have his support while I jumpstart my nursing career.
