I have been living in this apartment for the past 5 years, and yet the cooling system still has issues.
The issue I have been having has been going on ever since I moved in.
The landlord is always talking about repairing it, but it never seems to get repaired, or if it does, it won’t take long before it starts having issues again. I know many of my neighbors have moved out because of these reasons, because when it is summer and the temperatures are in the 90s, you really need air conditioning, it is not something you can go without. The most annoying thing is when I was still searching for an apartment to rent I was specifically looking for an apartment with central A/C so that way I wouldn’t run into these issues. Other apartments I have lived in would have windows A/Cs, or wall mounted air conditioners and those just aren’t nearly as good. Central HVAC machines are the best for apartments, and so I didn’t think I would face the same issues. But somehow I am still stuck with HVAC related issues. The only reason why I am still here is because all of the apartments around me are even more expensive, and I just can’t afford it right now. So as much as it sucks to go without heating and cooling, it is just something I am going to have to get used to. I would like to someday buy a home, that way the HVAC machine is my sole responsibility, instead of relying on others.
