A family received a new furnace from a local HVAC provider

If you’re anything like me, you love feel-good stories in the news.

And while the news is mostly filled with all kinds of negative stories, it’s good to see that they do report on positive stories once in a while.

Recently, I was watching the news and heard a story about a local HVAC provider that gave away a free furnace to a family that was in need. The family had been going through a series of bad luck and the furnace in their home was part of the unfortunate events. It broke down and the family had no money to purchase a new one. And with prices of a new furnace ranging between $4,500 and $9,500, it’s understandable that they wouldn’t have that money just sitting around. Luckily, a family member heard about the HVAC provider giving a needy family a free furnace and proceeded to submit their name and story for a chance to get the furnace. Surprisingly, the family won and the furnace came at the perfect time because they were able to get it installed just before or the colder weather hit. Giving away free furnaces to families in need is a great marketing strategy for HVAC providers. It brings attention to the company and the publicity will create more clients for them. Of course, the families benefit as well because many of them who win these furnaces would not have been able to afford a new one any time soon. So, this giveaway is a win for both the family as well as for the HVAC provider.
