And while the news is honestly filled with all kinds of downside stories, it’s nice to see that they do report on positive stories every so often.
Recently, I was watching the news and heard a story about a local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider that offered a free oil furnace to a family that was in need. The family had been going through a series of awful luck and the oil furnace in their condo was a section of the unblessed events… It broke down and the family had no money to purchase a new one. And with prices of a new oil furnace ranging between $4,500 and $9,500, it’s certainly understandable that they wouldn’t have that money just sitting around. It’s a good thing that a family member heard about the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device provider giving a needy family a free oil furnace and proceeded to submit their name and story for a chance to get the oil furnace. Surprisingly, the family won and the oil furnace came at the most suitable time because they were able to get it installed just before the colder weather hit! Giving away free oil furnaces to families in need is a wonderful business strategy for Heating, Ventilation, and A/C providers. It brings attention to the company and the publicity will create more clients for them. Of course, the families benefit as well because several of them who win these oil furnaces would not have been able to cover the cost for a new one any time soon. So, this giveaway is a win for both the family and for the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device provider.
