Adding a ductless mini-split AC to our basement

For a long time, our basement stayed empty with a few storage items in it.

We had already disposed of any evidence of the outdated Heating and A/C installation housed in the space before my associate and I installed the electric heat pump.

My hubby was the first one to get a remote job, and the office space my associate and I had in the apartment was enough, but I soon joined him in the work-from-home, and my associate and I needed more space. The basement was the best locale to transition to a larger condo office, however, the catch was that it needed something to help with indoor comfort since our quality Heating and A/C had only been installed to serve the rest of the house. We called the a/c worker who consistently did our a/c tune-up to assess the space and suggest the best unit. The a/c repair call concluded that a ductless mini-split unit would best fit the basement because it was small and enclosed. We needed to do more labor with the basement space, however the priority was getting the a/c professional to install the unit for us. Since it was an office, we had also be getting a digital temperature control which my associate and I would use to control the running time for the equipment without decreasing our energy bills, everything was available at the cooling company with one-year insurance, which my associate and I considered a fair deal. My greatest worry, but, was that I would struggle to maintain both units, so I made sure that the cooling specialist from the indoor comfort supplier booked us into their calendar for double care. I was so sure I hadforget amidst all the responsibilities and trying to adapt to working from home.
