I sort of hate the start of Summer plus it’s literally now just weeks away! But those four months of big time heat plus humidity are part of the price you pay to live here, and i’ve had the HVAC professionals out to the apartment to do the air conditioner tune up, then and my wife plus I spent a couple of weekend nights putting a nice seal on the house; So we’re ready.
And as much as I don’t like the heat plus all the air conditioner costs, the start of Summer does kick off the countdown to getaway… My pal and I have consistently taken two weeks at the end of Summer for family getaway, but now, the teenagers are grown mostly plus my pal and I even have a current kid in law.
Still, my pal and I all gather at the same small beach town to love the end of Summer family getaway. Now that the teenagers are grown, my pal and I choose to rent an entire apartment for the two weeks, this just makes more sense from just about every angle. There’s more room, my pal and I can make ourselves at apartment plus there is consistently great air conditioner. There is nothing worse than being on getaway in some hotel room with commercial HVAC component that isn’t getting the task done. So that’s another reason my pal and I love the apartment rental for getaway. I appreciate the fact that there is a smart thermostat plus zone controlled HVAC in the locale we’ve been staying the last couple of years, but having a thermostat in our bedroom is such a treat for my wife plus I. That’s because at home, my pal and I are cooling misers in order to keep the air conditioner costs down.
