Limiting the AC costs was crucial

Tiana does not like that the pandemic had to happen.

  • There are so numerous people who aren’t here and might be otherwise had this global health crisis not taken place.

But that’s just exactly what happened. Even if you weren’t personally dealt a blow from a Covid infection, it was so crazy. Tiana knew that initially, she thought that working from home would be just horrible. She was one hundred percent wrong about that. For sure, the first few months of working inside the central air conditioning of her home was tough. Tiana couldn’t seem to find a proper rhythm, the right work space or get the hang of the online meetings. But the more she pushed through to the Summer, the better she was at working outside of the commercial Heating and A/C of the office. That first Summer of the pandemic was the first time Tiana realized that she had to move her schedule around the volume of AC she was getting. Of course, she had to take a pay cut to keep her job. So limiting the AC costs was crucial. That’s what Tiana did by keeping the temperature control around 70 degrees during the peak heating hours of the day. Now, she is going into another summer working remotely and Tiana doesn’t think she’ll ever go back to the office. She goes to crucial meetings, however that’s it. So now, she has to change her weekly schedule so she can avoid her office when it’s so sizzling in her lake house. Tiana gets up well before dawn and works until dinner. Then, she gets out of the lake house during the worst of the heat to do errands.
