Things your father would say. I can tell you I will never forget these as well. My dad used to say “totally rinsed” when he wanted to say that something was shot or done. For example, if he was tired from a long day of water skiing, he would say, “Ah, I’m totally rinsed,” or if someone was acting crazy about something, they were “totally rinsed.” You never hear that, and I’m not sure where the saying came from, but I think I’ll never know because my dad died two years ago and the secret is locked up for all time. If you want to, you can use the saying, though. Cleaning heating and air conditioning systems is my job for the day, and I’m sure that by the time I get home from working on the heating system all day, I’ll be drenched too. I miss my dad a lot, and I still can’t believe that he won’t come back one day, but death is permanent, and I’ll have to accept it one day. He spent most of his life working in the heating business. He did a lot of furnace tune-ups over the years and built a really successful business in the process. I’m a songsian now, and I’m happy. I chose this path in life because I really enjoy making songs and performing for people. Who knows where it will lead me, but I know it will be more rewarding than cleaning air ducts all day for the cooling corp, which is what I was doing before I switched to songs.
