When I strolled into my first Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C classes, the teacher had changed our seating around; I typically go to the front of the room because I have a minor hearing problem.
I have hearing aids, however if I’m not right in the front row, I can barely distinguish between voices.
I have had this hearing problem since I was a kid, and I knew how to compensate for it, but when the teacher walked into the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C class, he shuffled around most people, but my associate and I were put according to last names, and I wound up in the back seat, and for the first hour, I had no idea what was going on, because I couldn’t hear what he was saying. I didn’t want to say something in front of the other people, although he was accusing me of not listening. When the class was put on a short break, he stopped me, he asked what was wrong with his teaching? I shook my head. He asked why I wasn’t listening, and told me I couldn’t have the earphones in while in his class. I chuckled and told him they were earphones. I was partially deaf and they were both of my hearing aids. He turned all shades of red, and asked why I wasn’t in the front row of the class… Once I reminded him I was until he changed around our seats, the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C teacher turned an even deeper shade of crimson. When class was back in session, he moved many of us, so it didn’t seem like he was just picking on me. He said they were shiny, happy Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C faces which needed to be seen more clearly.
