The idea of living inside of an aged aircraft was nowhere near on my radar when it came to putting a apartment on my property. And it’s also sort of ironic that I now live in an aged plane. I hated getting on planes. It wasn’t due to actual flying as much as it was the heating plus cooling during air travel. When you’re packed in on a long flight plus the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C isn’t right, it’s just no good. I used to have fly quite often for company travel. Thankfully, instead of hating air travel, I love living inside an aged jet. I have lived inside apartments for a long time because I’ve consistently lived plus worked in the city. While my apartment was okay, I longed for homeownership plus having my own Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C equipment. So I bought a piece of dwelling about 90 minutes out of the town that’s in the woods plus just lovely. When I was figuring out what sort of structure to put on it, I was invited to consider using the fuselage of the plane as living quarters. I did it plus I love it. And I did a lot of the work myself, then now, I have 1,400 square feet of apartment at a fourth of the cost of building a similar space with central air conditioning. I wouldn’t have believed it had I not done it myself. So now, I’m finally getting the quality heating plus air that I want on my aircraft.
