My parents household is a modular.
It was built 8 years ago when my buddy and I first moved to the northeast; There are multiple pieces that make up a modular.
The pieces are put together as well as set on a foundation, and with a modular household you can either choose one of the household plans that they have designed, or for a little more cash, you can design your own home. That is what my parents did. They like the household that they designed but there are some things that they wish they did differently. The rooms in the household are much smaller as well as I don’t think they realized the actual size that it would come out to be, but plus the modular supplier that they went with didn’t do a fine job finishing the house! During the winter the household can get pretty chilly in particular parts… My family room is coldest since it’s in the front of the household as well as it faces most of the drafts; Also my family room has a pretty important window from the rest of the house. During a chilly day you can feel the breeze coming through my window. The suppliers did not insulate the windows in our household undoubtedly well. I feel like my buddy and I are losing so much heat as well as energy while in the winter, however not to mention the more energy that you lose, the more cash that my parent’s will be spending. I think they want to call a odd supplier in to see if they can insulate our household more so we’re not losing so much heat.
