Thanks to our current Heating and A/C technology, our cooling and furnace training course became so much easier.
Before, an Heating and A/C serviceman had to upgrade a ductless mini split on a space heating system in order to convert the furnace into a cooling system; Now a local contractor will come in with certain parts of the space heating system such as: a wireless thermostat, an air filter, and a heating unit.
Before a cooling expert was required to tepid wire a gas fireplace to create a zone controlled cooling system unit. Now all you need is the heating company to come in and rewire a current wireless thermostat on it. Anyway, now that technological has advanced, we are able to have a really productive Heating and A/C training month. The schedule of our heating and cooling training month is set up like this: first, we learn about a certain cooling unit such as a central cooling system or a window air conditioning unit. After learning about it, we have the students build their own cooling system before moving on to the furnaces. My buddy and I do the same thing with the boilers except that this time the students are required to take apart or build a super heating system or heat pump every furnace class. After this we moved on to the media air cleaner session where the student had to learn about how an media air cleaner purifies the air and how media air cleaners can help with allergies and pollen control. The media air cleaner class was absolutely the hardest one for the students to understand because a lot goes into media air cleaners. By the end of the month the students knew a lot about cooling systems, furnaces, and media air cleaners
