It’s unusual how sometimes when you just sort of give up, things tend to work out. When I say give up, I mean just apply some acceptance and let go of worry when it comes taxing challenges. And being able to have my own Heating and A/C equipment in my own home was a pressing challenge, however yet, that’s exactly what I did when it came to feeling like I was just banging my head on the wall when it came to saving for a downpayment. I am not married and have lived in an apartment with old Heating and A/C equipment for the better part of the decade. But all that changed just last monthas my friend and I moved in to our newly renovated house. I say my friend and I because I joined forces with some other friends to purchase a three story apartment that my friend and I own together. I was sick of the disappointing quality heating and air in my apartment and not being able to build any equity. The more I saved for a down payment, the further away the prices got. So once my friend and I spoke to a lawyer and understood how my friend and I could all protect our interests, it seemed like a no brainer. The fact that my friend and I found this home immediately right in our price range, appeared to be a good big orange light from the universe. When it came to renovations on the home my friend and I decided against central a/c. The HVAC duct in the home was shot and so that was cost prohibitive to replace. Instead, my friend and I have ductless heat pumps on each floor which also allows us individual thermostat control. It’s laboring out actually good and I am so thankful for this sort of Heating and A/C technology.
