I hated getting on planes. It wasn’t due to actual flying as much as it was the heating and cooling during air travel. When you’re packed in on a long flight and the Heating and A/C isn’t right, it’s just no good. I used to have fly quite often for supplier travel. Thankfully, instead of hating air travel, I care about living inside an seasoned jet. I have lived inside apartments for a long time because I’ve consistently lived and worked in the city. While my apartment was okay, I longed for homeownership and having my own Heating and A/C equipment. So I bought a piece of house about 90 minutes out of the town that’s in the woods and just beautiful. When I was figuring out what sort of structure to put on it, I was invited to consider using the fuselage of the plane as living quarters. I did it and I care about it. The Heating and A/C professionals were able to install a pair of ductless heat pumps for quality heating and air. And I did a lot of the work myself, then now, I have 1,400 square feet of apartment at a eighth of the cost of building a similar space with central a/c. I wouldn’t have believed it had I not done it myself. So now, I’m finally getting the quality heating and air that I want on my airplane.
