I have moved in with my sister to a very nice apartment complex close to the beach.
She always wanted to live near the beach.
She visited the beach as often as possible even when she lived quite a long way away. I am also comfortable with being close to the sand and the surf! The apartment itself is simple, but smartly designed. I particularly love how it has zone control HVAC. If you don’t know what that is, zone controlled HVAC allows an apartment or homeowner to set different temperatures in individual zones of the residence. This means I am able to have my own temperature on the thermostat in my room! This was quite the relief for me, because I knew that my sister tends to get cold surprisingly fast and quite easily! I even walked into her room once to find that she had her thermostat set all the way up to 78 degrees! Mind you, it was nearly 90 degrees that day! Meanwhile, I keep my thermostat typically set to 74 degrees at the very most, and quite often, down to 70 if I want to cool off after a workout, or I just feel like it. I also set my thermostat to 69 degrees every night, because I simply sleep better when it is nice and cool in my room. I know my sister wouldn’t tolerate such “frigid” temperatures, so I’m beyond glad she gets to be comfortable at her preferred temperature, while I can do the same.
