I own a small daycare business that helps me make some extra money. I love working with kids and making sure they are well taken care of while their parents are away. One of the most important things to consider when you are starting a daycare is the HVAC units in your daycare. When I first started the daycare, I only had one small window air conditioner and a shabby heating system. I didn’t realize how much my HVAC units could affect myself and the kids I was taking care of. Some days the little window air conditioner was just not strong enough to keep the building cool, and kids and I would get really warm on hot summer days. In the winter, the heating system in the daycare would take forever to turn on, and when it was on it still didn’t heat the building very well. I finally was able to remodel the daycare and get new HVAC units installed. I got a combined heating and air conditioning system that would be able to keep the building warm and cool when I needed it to. The HVAC technician installed some air vents throughout the building and then he installed the heating and cooling unit outside in the yard. I was so excited to test out the new HVAC system and make sure it would do its job well. I first tested out the air conditioning unit and was pleased that it cooled down the whole building on its own. Then I tested the furnace. The furnace worked way better than my old one and heated the entire daycare building within a few minutes.
