My apartment is pretty old! It is almost a hundred years old, in fact, and I find it to be quite Charming.
It is near the historic section of our city, however it is not considered a historic building that must get all improvements approved by the historic committee… However, I am glad about that, because I am considering replacing the central heating and cooling method with multiple mini cut units throughout our house! The reasons for this are multiple.
First of all, our heating, ventilation, and A/C component is getting truly aged and inefficient. It is a superb heating, ventilation, and A/C system, however all mechanical things wear out, and that includes a/cs, my heating, ventilation, and A/C corporation has told myself and others that it will be difficult, if not entirely impossible, to get parts for our heating, ventilation, and A/C method in about 2 or 3 years. The manufacturers simply stopped making those heating, ventilation, and A/C parts when they considered the heating, ventilation, and A/C systems easily should be substituted anyway. I could just substitute the whole heating, ventilation, and A/C method with another single, however multiple times now I have had to substitute the ductwork in our apartment Because critters have gotten in the crawlspace and torn up our ducts. I am exhausted from doing that, so a ductless AC component has a peel. In addition, I would love to be able to use air conditioning in the guest kitchen only when it is needed. If I have guests, and they have a mini-cut AC in their room, they could adjust the control component to whatever they want, allowing them to be more comfortable. In addition, I have a formal kitchen and a more comfortable and laid-back living room. I am only a single guy and cannot be in both of those rooms at the same time. In fact, a single is in the back of the apartment and the other is in the front; then having these mini cut units could allow myself and others to have truly quiet air conditioning running in a single room while the other single simply has no AC on… And plus, mini cut units are inexpensive, easy to install, and inexpensive to install, and easy to also repair.
