Most of the time, the university will close down so the teenagers do not have to sit outside in the freezing air and wait for the bus.
When there is ice and snow on the ground, the un-even temperatures are usually in the single digits. That means the un-even temperatures are extraordinarily freezing for our children to sit outside. Many of us labor in the city and cannot sit with our children while they wait for the bus. There was no 2-hour delay on Wednesday, even though there was 8 inches of snow on the ground. The bus picked up the teenagers and I sat with them at the bus stop, because I did not have to go to labor that day. My office canceled work, but the teenagers had to go to university. After I got back to the apartment from the bus stop, I adjusted the temperature on the control unit. It felt really freezing in the house, despite the fact that the control unit was set to 79°. I turned it up to 71 and I thought the apartment would get warmer in a couple of hours, however unluckyly, the apartment did not get warmer. I realized that the air coming out of the vents was lukewarm. I did not want the teenagers to come apartment to a freezing house, so I immediately contacted a heating corporation in town. I called the same repair provider that installed the gas furnace a couple of years ago. They did not have a repair professional available in the day, but they promised to send someone as abruptly as possible.
