I got rid of a central HVAC system for mini splits

My modern home is pretty old… It is almost a hundred years old, in fact, plus I find it to be quite Charming.

It is near the historic part of our city, but it is not considered a historic building that must get all improvements approved by the historic committee; anyway, I am gleeful about that, because I am considering replacing the central heating plus cooling plan with many mini split units throughout our house! The reasons for this are multiple.

First of all, our heating as well as A/C equipment is getting very old plus inefficient. It is a great heating as well as A/C system, but all mechanical things wear out, plus that includes A/C systems; my heating as well as A/C serviceman has told me that it will be difficult, if not impossible, to get parts for our heating as well as A/C plan in about 2 or 3 years. The manufacturers simply stopped making those heating as well as A/C parts when they considered the heating as well as A/C systems particularly should be updated anyway. I could just update the whole heating as well as A/C plan with another one, but 3 times now I have had to update the duct labor in our modern home Because critters have gotten in the crawlspace plus torn up our ducts. I am tired of doing that, so ductless A/C equipment has a peel. In addition, I would like to be able to use A/C in the guest home office only when it is needed. If I have guests, plus they have a mini-split A/C in their room, they could adjust the thermostat to whatever they want, allowing them to be more comfortable. In addition, I have a formal kitchen plus a more comfortable plus laid-back kitchen. I am only one lady plus cannot be in both of those rooms at the same time. In fact, one is in the back of the modern home plus the other is in the front, but having mini split units could allow me to have very quiet A/C running in one room while the other one simply has no A/C on… but plus, mini split units are infancy, easy to install, plus infancy to install, plus easy to repair.
