My acquaintance has a tree that overhangs our side of the property! For a long time, I did not complain much at all about the tree; When it started to invade our property line, I felt that it was necessary to address the issue.

She told me that she would call her homeowners insurance to see if the disfigures could be covered. The insurance company paid for a corporation to completely service the window and hang new glass. They even put in a brand new marble window sill. The insurance company also paid for us to get a new window A/C unit. The old 1 was about 10 years old, however the new 1 is a state of the art device that will actually last 20 years or more. It has heat, cool air, and a dehumidifier feature.
