AC in my car is out

Last month, I noticed that the AC in my car was no longer blowing cold air.

This had happened before in my previous car and the repair was expensive.

I gave it a few days to see if the AC might come back on, but I had no luck. I asked around to friends and family to see if they might know a trick for a quick fix but they all insisted that I visit a professional car AC repair shop. I waited a few more weeks to see if the weather would change and I would be able to deal with it until the following summer. I thought this might by me some time and I would be able to save up some money for the repair. The weather did not get any cooler and I was sweating on my way to and from work each day. I was miserable without my car air conditioner. I decided to take my car to the local car AC repair shop and see if there was an easy fix. I got very lucky and only had to pay $50 for the repair. It could have been much worse. The car AC specialist told me that many car AC repairs require a full replacement of the compressor. He said that down the line, that might happen. When that is the case, I will just buy a new vehicle. The repair costs almost $1,000! Hopefully, this quick fix will last a few years and then by that point, I will be in a good place to buy a new car. I am very thankful for my local car AC repair shop.
