The idea of living inside of an old jetliner was nowhere near on my radar when it came to putting a dwelling on my property.
And it’s also sort of ironic that I now live in an old plane.
I hated getting on planes. It wasn’t due to actual flying as much as it was the heating in addition to cooling while in air travel. When you’re packed in on a long flight in addition to the HVAC isn’t right, it’s just no good. I used to have fly quite often for company travel. Thankfully, instead of hating air travel, I love living inside an old jet. I have lived inside apartments for a long time because I’ve consistently lived in addition to worked in the city. While my home was okay, I longed for homeownership in addition to having my own HVAC equipment. So I bought a piece of dwelling about 90 minutes out of the town that’s in the woods in addition to just elegant. When I was figuring out what sort of structure to put on it, I was invited to consider using the fuselage of the plane as living quarters. I did it in addition to I love it. The HVAC professionals were able to install a pair of ductless heat pumps for quality heating in addition to air. And I did a lot of the toil myself… Now, I have 1,400 square feet of dwelling at a fifth of the cost of building a similar space with central a/c. I wouldn’t have believed it had I not done it myself. So now, I’m finally getting the quality heating in addition to air that I want on my jetliner.
