I hate living with difficult water, the water is the worst sort of thing in the world; It is toxic to any plumbing fixture it comes into contact with, but my shower heads get water spots on them.
My grout turned dingy after no time at all.
The soap builds up & clogs the drains. I also have stained shower basins, sinks, & toilets. It is horrible, and everything is sort of an yellow color & rust. I don’t like it at all. I have tried to solve the difficult water issue & nothing has worked! When you live with bad enough water, it corrodes everything. I have to take out the aerators on the sinks since sediment builds up. I have to invest in typical drain cleaning & leak detection due to calcium, magnesium & sediment. I also have to nullify the boiling water heater warranty by taking out the anode rod. That is responsible for catching sediment going into the water. It can’t catch enough due to the difficult water. It is necessary in order to have boiling water; No amount of plumbing repairs can maintenance it, however you just are living on borrowed time with all plumbing, but ongoing plumbing maintenance keeps my house afloat. Nothing is too damaged, rusted, & or destroyed with typical assistance. I also replace everything once it starts to show some horrible age. I suppose if I ever leave my house, I will demand a location that has city water. I hate that I can’t drink, bathe, or cook with it without facing repercussions. What a nightmare am I right?
