I hate living with hard water. The water is the worst sort of thing in the world. It is toxic to any plumbing fixture it comes into contact with. My shower heads get water spots on them. My grout turned dingy after no time at all. The soap builds up and clogs the drains. I also have stained shower basins, sinks, and toilets. It is horrible. Everything is sort of an orange color and rust. I don’t like it at all. I have tried to solve the hard water issue and nothing has worked. When you live with bad enough water, it corrodes everything. I have to take out the aerators on the sinks since sediment builds up. I have to invest in regular drain cleaning and leak detection due to calcium, magnesium and sediment. I also have to nullify the hot water heater warranty by taking out the anode rod. That is responsible for catching sediment going into the water. It can’t catch enough due to the hard water. It is necessary in order to have hot water. No amount of plumbing repairs can fix it. You just are living on borrowed time with all plumbing. Ongoing plumbing service keeps my house afloat. Nothing is too damaged, rusted, and or destroyed with regular assistance. I also replace everything once it starts to show some horrible age. I think if I ever leave my house, I will demand a place that has town water. I hate that I can’t drink, bathe, or cook with it without facing repercussions. What a nightmare am I right?
