All of us had all the plans for our Halloween made, and our hubby was decorating, then he had the haunted room all ready for visitors when he came flying up the stairs.

I thought he was going to scream and say the basement was truly haunted, which is what he tried every year… This year, he was even more frightened and told me this was the scariest Halloween every one of us could imagine.

He heard a noise coming from the oil furnace, and he was afraid it was going to die on us. He didn’t need to say anything more. I was already calling the Heating and A/C business. I wasn’t going to allow a broken oil furnace to ruin our annual Halloween party. The Heating and A/C business said he would be at the home in about two hours, which gave us plenty of time to have the oil furnace repaired and ready for the party; By the time he arrived, the oil furnace was dead in the water, and the home was cooling hastily. I had the fireplace going, however I anxious it would not keep the home sizzling enough. Milly, the cat, tucks herself into Charlie’s side plus naps most of the time, plus he won’t transport until she is awake. Whenever the doorbell rings, he barks, which echoes through the house, plus lets myself and others think someone is there. He will jump up at the door, plus since he is looking out the window that is almost multiple feet off the ground, whoever is outside gets put on alert. When the Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman showed up for the first time, he almost fell off the porch; he backed up so hastily. I said his name, plus Charlie went back over plus looked at myself and others like I had just punished him. The two of us went to the mountains for a week-long ski trip. While there, the two of us got a text from the Heating and Air Conditioning company that there was a concern with the oil furnace plus the Heating and Air Conditioning company had already taken care of the situation. The bill would be mailed to us plus the two of us could pay it at our convenience. I couldn’t suppose it when I got the bill for the repairs. It showed the cost if I hadn’t had an extended warranty plus then an N/C after it. He anxious because I was going blind plus I often set my glasses down plus couldn’t find them. He said if the two of us got a digital thermostat, the two of us could get a smart thermostat. The two of us could go on the laptop plus adjust the temperature instead of worrying about trying to see the screen on the thermostat. I liked the idea, even though I was stubborn. I didn’t like not being able to see, plus I was vain enough to not confess it to anyone. When I dropped my glasses, I couldn’t see well enough to find them, plus I ended up stepping on them. I had to call my hubby plus tell him it was getting cold in the house. I had tried to turn up the heat, even though I must have been turning it down. I told him I stepped on my glasses plus I couldn’t find my old 1s. He said he would be new home in less than an hour, even though I didn’t think what time it was plus I didn’t want him to leave toil early. I made my way to my phone plus dialed speed dial ‘1’, which was my neighbor. Two minutes later, she was at the house with me, plus I had her call my hubby back. She helped myself and others find my old glasses plus reset the thermostat for me. When my hubby got home, he said the Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman would be there the next afternoon to install a new Smart Thermostat with large numerical readout, plus he would put the program on his phone.

She had icicles hanging from her ceiling because of broken pipes. She said she wanted myself and others to turn the oil furnace back on so she could get heat in the house plus melt the ice. I anxious about her not having heat, plus I ran right over. I knew she couldn’t stay in the house with broken pipes, so I asked for her daughter’s phone number. I wanted to make sure she had some locale to stay until the homeowner’s insurance adjuster arrived plus got repairs done on the house. I got in touch with her daughter, who told myself and others she would be right over. In the meantime, I was looking around the house, plus I realized someone had turned off the power. I asked her if she had forgotten to pay the power bill, but she couldn’t remember. Her daughter showed up half an hour later, plus I had left a note on the door for her to come to my house. She walked in plus asked what happened. I said there was no power plus without power; the oil furnace didn’t toil plus the pipes froze. She hugged her mom plus asked if she was okay, and my friend said she thought her hubby had paid the bills, plus I was confused. He died over 4 years ago. Her daughter told myself and others she had dementia plus often forgets things. It took multiple weeks to get the house repaired, plus the oil furnace upgraded, but she never moved back. Her daughter moved her in with her, where she didn’t need to worry about lack of heating, or forgetting to pay her bills.
