My leg cramps a lot

I workout for around an hour once a day.

The majority of our time is devoted to high intensity cardio.

I entirely enjoy jumping rope as well as tend to jump four or multiple mornings per week. I use an app on our phone for guided workouts as well as some of the jumping sessions that last the full hour. I also enjoy going for five- to six-mile runs. I do a lot of lunges, squats, burpees, mountain climbers as well as jumping jacks. Nearly every genre of exercise involves our legs. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve started having some issues with our legs. While our calves ache throughout the afternoon, the pain gets much worse in the evening. As soon as I go to bed, our muscles begin to cramp. I’ve researched to figure out how to decrease the pain. While rest is always commanded , I am unwilling to quit working out. I have made an effort to take mornings off from targeting our legs. I devote clear workouts to weight lifting, abdominal crunches as well as the rowing machine. I’ve also gotten better about our sizzling up. I spend a lot more time loosening up our joints as well as stretching our muscles. I focus on working my legs. I also spend more time on the cool down at the end of the workout. I take turmeric as well as magnesium to help with the redness as well as drink a lot more water. I apply pain relieving creams to our legs more than two to four times per afternoon. I’ve found that heating pads are the most crucial. At night, I wrap our calves in heating pads as well as this helps to lessen the pain.

I am running for a workout

Running is one of my favorite types of workouts… I love the chance to clear our mind as well as settle into the clear motion. I properly use running for exercise more than two or four times per week, then although I switch up the route I take, the workout can get a bit monotonous. I found that I was getting slightly lazy. I wasn’t running as far or as fast. I needed some way to get motivated to push myself. I mentioned our concerns to our sister, who then commanded a free running app. After downloading the app onto our phone, I was then asked to provide information about myself. I provided our age, weight, height as well as gender. Now, I use the app every time I run. I can still listen to our music; The app simply cuts in at usual intervals to provide the distance I’ve covered as well as our pace. It lets me suppose if I’m on track to beat our personal best, however hearing this information encourages me to run faster as well as longer. I love that the app keeps track of how much I run, the distance I go past as well as our pace. It calculates calories burned as well as has l received the routes that I favor. It’s a very handy fitness tool, and because of the running app, I am getting more benefits from our efforts. Downloading the free running app has inspired me to search for more opportunities. I found a jump rope app that I entirely love and am checking out apps for weight lifting as well as cycling. There are all sorts of possibilities to take our workouts to the next level.

Packing a jump rope

I am constantly traveling from one place to another.

  • My job sends me all over the country for conferences, workshops, training sessions and team-building seminars.

I really enjoy seeing new places and always try to make time to explore the area. My schedule is typically quite hectic, and there is very little opportunity to focus on myself. I’ve learned that I need to prioritize health, fitness and happiness. When I first began the job, I quickly gained weight. I began suffering from a variety of aches and pains in my muscles and joints. These issues had me considering quitting my job. I was at risk of serious medical concerns and knew I couldn’t continue in the same way. I decided to make more of an effort to eat properly, sufficiently hydrate and exercise regularly. I now look for those hotels that include a 24-hour fitness center. Most of them offer little more than a single treadmill, stationary bike and a few free weights. Even limited equipment is enough to get a strenuous workout. If I’m lucky, the hotel will either have a swimming pool or an extensive, state-of-the-art gym. I pack a jump rope and resistance bands in the suitcase. If there is no gym available, those two pieces of equipment are sufficient. I can always find a spot where I can exercise. If I’m located in a safe area, I go for a run. No matter if I need to fit my workout in during the early hours of the morning or late at night, I make the time to thoroughly stretch, do some kind of strength training and elevate my heart rate. I am also far more careful about what I eat.

Using a jump rope app

I am a little bit obsessed with jumping rope. In my opinion, it’s one of the most advantageous workouts. In a very short amount of time, jumping rope burns an incredible amount of calories. The repetitive motion is high intensity, engaging the whole body and requiring a great deal of balance, skill and stamina. It’s also fun. When I first got started, I struggled to jump for thirty seconds without tripping on the rope or needing a rest. With practice, I’ve significantly increased my abilities and capacity. I’ve invested into a specialized rubber mat that won’t slip or curl beneath my feet. I have purchased the Crossrope system that includes four different weights of ropes. I have a quarter-pound, half-pound, one-pound and two-pound rope that each attach to a single set of handles by way of a metal clasp. It is quick and easy to switch from one rope to another. Each size of rope provides a different style of exertion. The heavier ropes rotate more slowly and are far more exhausting. They are better for strength training. The lighter ropes are better for practicing new skills and jumping for longer periods of time. I use guided workouts offered through an app on my phone. Following instruction helps to motivate and prevents me from being lazy. The training sessions vary from beginner to intermediate and advanced. They can be anywhere from ten minutes to an hour long. Some of them are strictly jumping and use all four weights of rope. Some of the workouts incorporate non-jumping exercises such as abdominal crunches, push-ups and lunges. I like that the app keeps a record of my workouts. I know how many days during the month I’ve worked for, how many minutes and how many calories I’ve burned.

Both of us had to sit in the heat in these tiny little modular boxes

It’s going to be a long time before I forget about covid-19 plus how it affected everything plus all the people… I still carry our vaccine card in our pocket plus I get our booster shots when I am supposed to.

I lost many members of our family to the illness plus I believe lots of other people that lost enjoyed a singles as well… During the height of the pandemic, I volunteered to labor at a single of the mobile covid-19 testing centers; As a retired nurse, I believe how to spot symptoms of sickness… The covid-19 testing centers were totally angry! Both of us had to sit inside of this tiny little modular box all day in the heat.

The mobile covid-19 testing centers did not have any A/C at all. There were times when I thought I might have a fever just because I was getting boiling. After the pandemic subsided, I wonder what they did with all of the portable covid-19 buildings, testing facilities, plus isolation equipment. Does all of that stuff get thrown into a landfill anywhere or can it be recoverd at another time? I wonder what happened to all of the extra masks, hand sanitizer, plus other medical supplies. At the height of the pandemic, I couldn’t find a single bottle of hand sanitizer for less than $4 plus now they are all over the supermarket, pharmacy, plus grocery store for a dollar. The Dollar Tree down the street even has hand sanitizer, packs of masks, plus other covid testing solutions plus they are all available for only a dollar.

Frustrated with renters

I enroll in a program that includes monthly service.

As I’ve bought more and more rental properties, I’ve learned that maintenance is a constant problem. Everything from mowing the lawns to changing HVAC filters needs to be done on a regular basis. The renters can not be depended on to take care of even minimal upkeep. They don’t rake up leaves, sweep the sidewalks or even keep the stairways clear. Every time I visit the properties, I find garbage in the lawn, weeds in the gardens and all sorts of stuff piled in the hallways. I have sent out letters, reminders and warnings about what is permitted. I would hope that the renters would take pride in the property. Instead, I find dog poop, kids toys and beer cans in the yard. I can’t mow the lawn until I’ve spent half an hour picking up after the renters. I now throw away anything I find. If someone leaves a tricycle or a hibachi grill in the yard, it goes in the trash. If there is pet feces in the grass, all of the renters incur a fine. It’s extremely aggravating. I’ve even tried hiring professionals to help with the maintenance of the plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical systems. I enroll in a program that includes monthly service. When the technicians show up at the property, many of the renters refuse to let them in. I still pay the same amount whether or not the HVAC technician cleans and adjusts the air conditioners or not. The same renters who refuse to allow the plumber access to the apartment to clean the drains and flush the water heaters are the ones who call me in the middle of the night because of a dripping faucet.

Can you tell I did the reupholstering?

When our son moved out, he left the sofa he had in his basement apartment behind.

The thing was beat up, and the upholstery was torn and had cigarette holes throughout.

I was worried about what all the stains were, but I hated to throw it away. The sofa itself was in great shape, but I couldn’t afford to have it reupholstered. One of the small local sewing shops was closing, and they were selling the material at half price. I thought if I could get some upholstery material at a decent price, I may try to reupholster the sofa on my own. I didn’t think I could make it look any worse than it already looked. I measured the sofa and asked if they had enough of the cloth in the store. I had to buy two full bolts of the cloth, but it cost less for the two than if I had bought one bolt from another store. It took me nearly two months to measure and fit the cloth to the sofa, and another two months to finish the job. I had to buy new upholstery tacks for the arms and along the back and bottom of the sofa. I read every article I could find on how to reupholster a sofa. When I was finally finished with the reupholstering job, I took my husband downstairs. He thought I had bought a new sofa, and I told him it was what I had been working on. I asked if he could tell I did the reupholstering? He was speechless and then said it looked like a new sofa from the furniture store, and maybe I should take up reupholstering as a new career.

Honey is good, but the bees are a nuisance when not in a hive.

My family loves honey. We cook with honey instead of using processed sugar. My kids won’t eat peanut butter unless I have mixed it with honey. We mix butter with honey for their toast. I go to the honey farmer about once a month to stock up on the honey. The only bad thing about the honey is how much of a nuisance the honey bees are when they aren’t in a hive. We assumed the honeybees had a second queen born that left the hive they were in. Instead of finding a home in a vacant hive in the honey farmer’s field, they took up residence in our house. It wasn’t until the honeybees were coming out from under the house’s siding that we even realized the bees were there. We saw a sticky substance flowing down the side of the house, and I thought it looked like honey. My husband thought that was impossible, but it wasn’t. He went over to dab at the substance, and he told me I was right. We had honey flowing down our home siding. I called the honey farmer and told him I had a honeybee nest in my walls. He called a live bee extermination specialist and came to the house with him. Over the summer, we had over 5,000 bees take up residence in the wall outside the kitchen. They had to remove the siding and gently cut out the honeycomb and remove the bees. Once they found the queen, the other bees reluctantly followed her into the hive,.but there was still a lot of cleanup to be done. Ants were swiftly moving in to eat the honey that was still on the inside of the walls.
