There is this really great heating and air conditioning dealership near me. They actually have a lot of their HVAC systems that they sell on display so you can actually see what you are buying. Also the really unique thing about this heating and air conditioning dealership is that they have rooms that have some of the heating and air conditioning systems hooked up to work in. So you can actually get a small taste of what some of the heat and a/c units are in action! This is not something that you see every single day of your life. It’s kind of like getting to try out certain central heating and air conditioning systems and thermostats before you buy them. I had never seen anything like this anywhere else to date. I think this heating and cooling dealership is a great place to buy a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. The prices are really competitive as well compared to other heating and cooling dealerships in my local area. I can not say enough good things about this heating and air conditioning dealership! I will never buy a heating and cooling unit from any other place than this heating and air conditioning dealership in my area. They also have a policy where if you buy a brand new HVAC unit you will get the choice of a free smart thermostat to go with it. A free smart thermostat with the purchase of one of their brand new and up to date HVAC units is a sweet deal.

This past summer we had some real bad heat.

• The heat was so bad that nearly everyone’s central heating and air conditioning system was overworking itself and causing the heat and a/c units to break down.

When my central heating and air conditioning system broke down because of this issue and I called the local heating and cooling company, there were no heat and a/c specialists available till the next day! That is how busy they were. There were no emergency heating and air conditioning spots open. I really wish at that point that I had a portable air conditioning system. Because I ended up having to go spend a few hundred bucks to stay at a hotel that night because of this. I was really not happy about it. Never the less the next day the heating and air conditioning company sent out their certified heat and a/c specialist to repair my central heating and air conditioning system and my central heat and a/c unit was working again to the fullest. I was glad that I had air conditioning again. But this was quite a hit to my bank account between the hotel stay and the heating and air conditioning system repair. This actually woke me up to the fact that I needed to go out and buy a portable air conditioner. This way the next time something like this may happen I will not have to go to a hotel and can save money by using the portable air conditioning system to keep me cool while I wait for a heating and air conditioning specialist to be available.

What is crazy is the thing that got me originally interested in becoming a heating and air conditioning specialist was watching the installation of a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit.

It was back when I was a teenager and my neighbor had to have their central heating and cooling system replaced.

I remember just watching the heat and a/c specialists from the local heating and air conditioning company install that central heating and cooling unit. It somehow made me very interested in what they were doing so I decided to go and ask questions. The heating and air conditioning specialist who was the chief of the team was really nice in explaining everything to me that they were doing and they allowed me to watch them. It was right after this day that I decided that I wanted to become a heating and air conditioning specialist! So when I graduated high school instead of going to college like everyone else I knew, I went to find a heating and cooling certification school in my area. I ended up finding one that was really good priced and that would be able to get me my heating and air conditioning certification in a matter of 8 months. That is a lot sooner than any college degree! So I went to heating and cooling school and 8 months later I graduated and became the heating and air conditioning specialist that I am today. It was a real interesting journey all together that I took.

But I still wonder what is actually the best to cool your home.

An old window air conditioning system or a full blown central heating and air conditioning system unit? My opinion is equal of both. Because if you take care of them both, they really have the same exact results in cooling your home. I really have seen no difference in the power or way that the air conditioning works in both window cooling units or central heating and air conditioning systems. The only thing I can say in favor of window air conditioning systems maybe being a better choice is that they take much less maintenance than having a central heating and air conditioning system unit. With a window air conditioning system you do not have to pay for or think about HVAC maintenance of any kind. The only thing you need to do with the window air conditioning system is to change the air filter from time to time. That is it. It is a much less headache in that aspect and it also saves you quite a bit of money compared to having to do all the regular maintenance on a central heating and air conditioning system to keep it working all of the time. That doesn’t make one better than the other, it just makes one cheaper and less maintenance involved. Really I guess there is no right or wrong answer as to what type of air conditioning is better. It is all up to the personal opinion of you and yourself. That it what it comes down to.

I can not tell you how much I love working as an independent heating and air conditioning specialist.

I have been in the heating and cooling business in general for about 20 years now and for 15 of those years I have been an independent heating and air conditioning specialist. Being an independent heating and air conditioning specialist gives me the freedom to run my heat and a/c business the way i wanna run it and I do not have to answer to anyone. I can price my heating and air conditioning home services as i’d like and I also can decide what hours and days I wish to be open for business. No punching a clock and being on someone else’s time demands. This is the way any work career should be in my opinion. But I must say that it was not easy getting to this point. Building your own heating and air conditioning business or any business for that matter is a very tough and detailed task. And it does not always work out. I was lucky in this aspect of things. Had this venture not worked out I would have went back to working for some heating and air conditioning company to keep myself in the heat and a/c business. Because no matter how I do it, the heating and air conditioning business is my career and I would not be able to do anything else this late in life. I set my career path back when I went to heating and cooling school and graduated. It branded me a heating and air conditioning worker for life.

I went to visit a friend last week and I was pretty surprised when I found that in their garage is where their hot water boiler to hear their home was placed! That is the most odd place for a hot water boiler.

Usually you find most boilers and furnaces in your basement, not in the garage! And when it comes to central heating and air conditioning systems they are usually in the backyard or on the side of the house.

Never in the garage. I guess it is just the way my friend’s house is built. That is why the hot water boiler is in there instead of the basement. I would hate to have my furnace or boiler in the garage. Changing the air filter would be a major pain in the rear if this was the case for me. I have enough trouble trying to remember to change the air filter of my central heating and air conditioning system as it is. But to have it be in the garage like my friend’s hot water boiler would make it even worse for me. I asked my friend why the hot water boiler was in the garage and they told me it was like I suspected. The house is just built weird like this so that was the place that any heating and air conditioning unit would have to go. Even a central heating and air conditioning system. I am so glad I do not have a home like this. I would not like it at all.

I will say that I feel that the heating we had way back when was better than the heating we have now.

This is just my opinion of course. But I preferred the hot water boilers, the steam boilers, the furnaces that were electric and the gas furnaces. Central heating to me just doesn’t do it. I feel that central heating is just too dry and it makes my skin flake. It also sometimes makes me dehydrated. This is why I got rid of my central heating and air conditioning system and went for a hot water boiler for my heating and got a few window air conditioning units for my cooling. I like it the old school way. And I am actually glad that this old heating and cooling technology is still available today. I know eventually this will no longer be available. But while it is here and as long as I can run it, I will take it and this is how I will heat and cool my home. I made this decision just this past year after having a central heating and air conditioning system for over a decade and a half. I just did not like the heating and also I did not like all the money I had to put out every single year on heating and air conditioning system maintenance. Having a hot water boiler for instance takes no professional maintenance what so ever other than if the hot water boiler were to break down. None of this tune up and check up stuff. The same with the window air conditioning systems.

When I want something I always go for it no matter what.

The most recent thing that I really want is to become a certified heating and air conditioning specialist.

I am in my middle ages now and I already have a job, but not a career. So I decided I am going to go to heating and cooling school at night during the week and start the process to get the certification to become a heating and air conditioning specialist. I will then quit my job once I have that heating and air conditioning certification and find a job working for one of our really great heating and air conditioning companies here in town. They are always looking to hire new and fresh heating and cooling specialists who just got out of heating and air conditioning school. I start classes next week in the evening after I get home from work. The heating and air conditioning school courses are supposed to be for 6 months, which is better than spending years in a college getting a degree that chances are you will never get a job doing. At least with heating and air conditioning going to school is a worthwhile investment as long as you pass the classes. You will actually have a career in the heating and cooling business and it will not be a waste of time, energy and money. This is why I am going for it! And I know that I will pass the course with flying colors at the end.

I was sort of on the fence about getting radiant heated floors for my home. However I decided to do it because I wanted an alternate way to heat my home that would be energy saving. I have to say that the radiant heated floors are much better than I ever could have expected! I was not expecting the radiant heated floors to be so powerful. I figured because they are ran by hot water pipes that I may need a portable space heater to help heat my home when it got really cold. But this was not the case. The radiant heated floors did a fabulous job in heating my home! Not to mention when I got my first electric bill after getting the radiant heated floors I was very surprised to see the reduction already starting. This was a great sign that I was going to be saving tons of money from these radiant heated floors and that eventually all the savings I would be getting would make the radiant heated floors pay for themselves. I do not regret one bit investing in these radiant heated floors for my home. I just wish I would have done it a lot sooner. But because I did not believe in the radiant heated floors it took me this long. But now that I have them everything will be great moving forward and I will have great heating in my home as well as be saving a lot of money on my monthly energy bills as a result of the radiant heated floors.

I have been working in the heating and air conditioning business as a certified heat and a/c specialist.

And this year that just passed I have to say was my best year yet in the almost 10 years I have been doing this.

My client base just seems to be growing more and more. I am always busy with heating and air conditioning repairs, heating and air conditioning installations and heating and air conditioning system tune up and check ups. The business never stops from day to day. And this is why I had a really good year this past year. It was not like this before. I would have a few days a week with minimal to no work at all, which was tough on my bank account. But this past year it all finally picked up and has been working out great. If it ever happens that the business dies down though I am always ok because I can just go and get a job with one of the local heating and air conditioning companies in town. I have many years experience as a certified heating and cooling specialist so this would not be a problem at all. But hopefully all will remain good as last year and this year will be either the same or even a better year yet at my independent heating and air conditioning business that I work so hard at to keep going with the most high quality around. Heating and air conditioning is my life and it always will be as long as I live.
