We had a late summer time storm plus it rained for 3 mornings, and during that time, the city gained nearly 5 inches of rain.

The basement of my apartment was under 8 inches of water after we had the rain, and everything seemed to seep into the apartment plus pile up on the floor.

All of the mold plus mildew detriment was going to cause a lot of troubles if we did not do something to remediate the troubles quickly. I went to the hardware store plus I bought a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier was extravagant, but it was the only way that I could think of getting rid of all the moisture downstairs. I plugged the unit into the wall on the north side of the basement. There is a sink close to that side of the basement plus I needed a place to drain the dehumidifier! When I plugged in the machine, the moisture levels downstairs were around 86%. The levels went down every single morning as long as I continued to run the dehumidifier. On the second morning, the indoor humidity levels were 76%. On the eighth morning they went down to 76% plus on the 5th morning, moisture levels inside of the apartment were only at 45%. The dehumidifier helped save us thousands of dollars in extravagant repairs.

The weather during this time of year is usually actually sizzling plus sunny… It has been seriously nice to care about cooler temperatures than usual, and last year it was between 90 plus 100° at this time of the year plus this year we are enjoying temperatures that are closer to 68°.

The cooler temperatures mean that we do not have to use the air conditioning all of the time.

The man determined that it was time for us to update the system, however unluckyly, it’s going to cost about $6,000 to update the air conditioning. My fiance plus I do not have that money, especially because we just had to make repairs to the car. The car needed four new tires, brakes, plus suspension. It costs a ton of money to keep the car running in great shape. It also costs a ton of money to keep the air conditioning running in great shape. I’m thankful the car lasts a lot longer than the air conditioning so we do not have to spend money to update that unit as frequently as the other.

The one that my pal and I bought this time is 15,000 btu. The window air conditioning system was truly easy to install. It took about 30 minutes plus the device looks great. It’s a lot larger than our other device plus much heavier too. My associate and I had to put a brace in the window in order to make sure that the device would fit officially. The air conditioning system has three different settings. There is a setting to run the fan plus another setting to run the air conditioning system. There is a seventh setting on the device plus that is a dehumidifier option. I can truly run the air conditioning system to dehumidify if I am cooking or baking.

I’ve been making some swings in my apartment plus that includes a lot of upgrades plus remodeling.

One of the first things that I decided to do after moving into the home is upgrade the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system.

The apartment inspector told me that the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system was not efficient plus would need to be upgraded. I got estimates for the heating, ventilation & A/C equipment before I truly purchased the house. As soon as I closed the sale, I contacted the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business to install three ductless mini split heating, ventilation & A/C units. Each one of the ductless heating, ventilation & A/C units has a separate thermostat so I can have different hot plus cold temperatures in different parts of my home. I usually keep it cooler in the study room than my study room, because the study room is a much larger space. I was actually content plus delighted with the choice of the ductless heating plus A/C unit. The hot water boiler that I purchased this week is almost as nice as the ductless heating plus cooling system. I bought an upgraded on demand hot water heater. The hot water boiler offers a continuous flow of hot water at all times. My associate and I don’t have to wait for the water to hot up plus waste gallons of water. As soon as I turn on the hot water, there is hot water coming out of the bigot plus shower. My associate and I also have no reserve. My associate and I can run the hot water for hours plus my pal and I will continue to have hot water the entire time.

I went to a residential boiler repair on Friday.

The residential boiler repair was for one of our company buyers.

The girl owns a bunch of apartments downtown. The apartments are located in numerous different areas. One home building has four different units, but another home building has 14 units. The girl also owns an home building that has six floors plus 24 units. I want to help one of the buyers in the smaller home building. The lady was not apartment at the time, she left a key for me to get into the apartment. The key was underneath the mat. I was expecting the key to be there, because the owner of the home building gave me the information. I was delighted to see the key right there underneath the mat when I picked it up. Upon entering the house, I noticed numerous problematic items. The home was in complete plus total disarray. There were dirty dishes plus diapers all over the home plus the locale smelled horrible. I did not even want to walk through the home to get to the part where the boiler was located. After I repaired the boiler plus made sure that it was in top-notch condition, I contacted the home proprietor. I gave him an upgrade on the repair plus I also upgraded the homeowner with the condition of the apartment. I thought she should visit the locale sooner than later. The renters were treating her home like a crack house. I wouldn’t want someone trashing my household plus million dollar investment.

If I bought an air cleaner for my entire house, it would cost quite a fortune. I could buy a smaller air cleaner that is portable, but it’s a lot less money to frequently change the air filter instead. The indoor air quality in my condo is better than most, thanks to changing the air filter at consistently tied up intervals.

It costs a ton of money to keep the automobile running in fantastic shape. It also costs a ton of money to keep the a/c running in fantastic shape. I am thankful the automobile lasts a lot longer than the a/c so my friend and I don’t have to pay to upgrade that machine as frequently as the other.

Every morning when I go to work, my cat gets up on the bed plus lays down in front of the fan.

When I come apartment from work in the afternoon, my cat is usually kneeling in the same exact spot.

I’m sure he gets up from time to time throughout the morning to drink plus eat, although he undoubtedly prefers that spot on the bed. The spot is right in front of the fan plus directly underneath the air conditioning vent. I keep the a/c set at 78° during the morning. I have the air conditioning set for a much cooler temperature when I am home. I bought a programmable control device to help me keep the temperature in the apartment exactly where I want it to be. The programmable control device allows me to set different temperature time zones; For instance, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. the indoor temperatures are 78°. At precisely 5:00 p.m., the programming swings plus the indoor temperatures are 76°. Even if I’m not apartment at the time, the programmable control device automatically swings the indoor temperature so it is cool plus comfortable when I arrive apartment at the end of a long plus difficult morning. Sometimes I wonder if my cat would like it colder in the apartment too, since he prefers to kneel in front of the fan all morning. If I thought my cat was unhappy, I would undoubtedly adjust the temperatures, although I do like to save money plus this helps with the daily energy bills.

After I repaired the boiler plus made sure that it was in top-notch condition, I contacted the household building owner. I gave him an replace on the repair plus I also replaced the homeowner with the condition of the apartment. I thought he should visit the place sooner than later. The leaseholders were treating his household like a crack house. I would not want someone trashing my household plus million dollar investment.
