I’ve had the same central heating and air conditioner for almost 18 years. That’s many more years than a central heating and air conditioner system should last. Surprisingly, there are no signs whatsoever of the heating and cooling system failing? I’m totally flabbergasted by this and so is my independent heating and air conditioner worker that does all the work on my heating and cooling system. Every single time he comes around to do a heating and air conditioner tune up and check up he’s taken aback when it dawns on him how old this central heating and cooling device is. A heat and a/c system this old should either be long dead or at the least be on its way out. None of the above applies when it comes to my central heating and air conditioner unit. The heat and a/c worker thinks it’s because I was always on time with all of my heating and air conditioner service over the years. In addition, the Heating and A/C brand of my central heating and cooling system happened to be one of the best around 18 years ago when I first bought it. They just don’t manufacture them like they used to. And this proves it! And hey, who knows, maybe my central heating and air conditioner will end up in the book of world records as the longest lasting heat and a/c device in history.

Waking up in my modern bedroom is almost like being on a trip. I have a coffee pot right in my modern space that I set every evening. So, I wake to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and sun streaming through the modern window of my bedroom. And without getting out of bed, I can set the ductless heat pump to deliver the exact quality heating and air I need depending on the season. Today, it was moderately charming so I took my coffee out on my private deck. That would be the deck that is just beyond the french doors. Seriously, I did something superb with this modern addition. Okay, so in truth, I was hesitant from the start when it came to selling our cottage. I just didn’t want to move and that’s the simple truth. I detest and always resist change. I like to get up in the morning, adjust the thermostat and hop in the shower. Then, I like to get ready for work and get to the office. If the pandemic taught me anything it’s that I can adapt and that working from a home inside the central air conditioner of my condo is okay. Actually, it’s better than okay as that’s where I’m working now. Each morning, I rise well before dawn to start my afternoon here inside my condo office. The answer was sort of right in front of me the whole time. It’s just that I couldn’t see it. When I did, it was a sweet relief. Like many other families across the globe, my partner and I chose to go through our tolerable share of adjustments when the pandemic was raging. It’s weird for me being a homeowner and living in a neighborhood. I find it so much more than the Brady Bunch image I’ve had in my head much of my adult life. I grew up living in apartments in the city. We’re talking sizable buildings with boilers in the basement the size of several battle tanks. I can still recall the radiant heating from the radiators in our apartment. That may have been the best heating method I’ve ever come across. Now I live further south where the heat pump takes care of both my heating and cooling needs. I’m 58 and this is my first time ever being in a home where there was a fence and a yard involved. I prefer this much more than sharing walls with my neighbors. It makes it quite easy to want to help out when you can. The friend next door to me is a young guy who is just starting out. He’s a superb guy and eager to learn the finer parts about being a productive adult. I admire that in a person because I’m still doing the same thing. So, when you have many years on you, there are things you know. When my friend texted me about an Heating and A/C problem he was having, I went over to see if I could assist. We checked the fuse and the breaker. The thermostat was responding to commands, however nothing from the heating and cooling equipment. At that point, I gave him the number of my Heating and A/C professionals. I told him that any further messing with the heat pump should only be done by a Heating and A/C specialist. Even a central heating and AC unit with a top grade SEER rating. Also electric fireplaces are good for holiday decorations at Christmas. If you had a gas fireplace you would not manage to decorate it because of the risk of things catching fire. So, if you can’t have a real authentic fireplace in your home, an electric fireplace is the best second alternative and much cheaper. Even though there’s no flame, you have the feel and atmosphere of a real authentic fireplace with an electric fireplace. This is why my baby sister loves the electric fireplace she just paid for so much. She truly recommends getting one to anyone and most people who do not have a real authentic fireplace and would like to have a fireplace in their lake house if they can spare the small investment. At times you can find them on sale even cheaper than what she paid. You just have to check around to see when and where sales on electric fireplaces are.

Josh always states that he is super impressed with today’s central heating and AC units. They are better quality than the central heating and AC units of even 13 years ago. Heating and AC technology has come so far and has brought so much to the table. Heated flooring and heating and AC zone control (also known as zoned heating and AC units) are two of his personal favorites and truly astound him. Who would have thought that you could actually have heating coming out of your floors all generated from tepid water pipes? That is like a major energy saver. If they’d only make them more affordable, most people would have heated floors and put the energy companies out of business soon. And that would be a fantastic thing with the high cost of energy use nowadays. Then you have heating and AC zone control or zoned heating and AC units. This is where you can have varying temperatures with various control units throughout your beach house as if you had a single central heating and AC unit for every single room. But the fact is there is only one heat and air conditioning unit running it. These are high in energy use but are a great thing if you have a beach house that has varying temperatures that indoor temperature control that would be impossible otherwise. The new heating and cooling is simply on top.

Mark was talking the other afternoon about the old portable space heaters and the new and modern portable space heaters. And he must say that the old portable space heaters were huge. They were not so portable the way he remembered them. Mark has this memory of having one in the family shower room growing up that was used to warm the space when he took showers. And if Mark wanted to move that thing it was not a straightforward thing like how portable space heaters are today. Back then they were a hard metal type made and so heavy. Mark remembers having to move that portable or so called portable space heating system with his bare hands. When he got it to where it needed to be moved to he felt like he just had come from lifting weights. Mark would not describe that as a portable space heating system at all. While today with portable space heaters they are made of heat resistant plastic, are in fact light and are about the same size as a little blender. Not to mention the portable space heaters of today function better than the portable space heaters of yesteryears. This just goes to show how HVAC technology has changed over the last few decades. Mark does not miss the old portable space heaters one bit and he is super satisfied that today he has the portable space heaters that he does. They are so much better and easily portable space heaters. Mark wonders if they will get even better?

Mom and dad recently purchased a brand new central heat and AC unit. And let me tell you that this central heat and AC unit that they got is like no other. It’s the best central heat and AC unit mom and dad have ever experienced in their whole entire lives. They are not used to a central heat and AC unit being this powerful. Mom and dad had not purchased a new heat and AC unit in almost 21 years, so this is evidence here on how much heat and AC technology has changed majorly in recent years. Who knew? Who had any inclining? They sure as heck did not. Mom and ada are not folks who keep up on the latest and greatest in heat and AC technology. To them, if it’s good and keeps them comfortable, that is all that matters and it is all good for them. Mom and dad do not need the latest and greatest in heat and AC technology unless they have no choice, like now. But they have to say they’re quite glad they got the unit because the central HVAC unit they just purchased is reliable. This saves them on energy use and lowers their electric bill since it heats and cools the home faster than the old central heat and AC unit from 21 years ago. In addition, this brand new and completely modern central heat and AC unit that they recently invested their hard earned money into actually has a high and attractive SEER rating.
