It is absolutely the end of an era here in our local area. The HVAC supplier that has been here since even before I was born is closing down. This HVAC supplier has been around for the last 50 years! Back in the days when central HVAC was a new and rare thing only to commercial buildings and businesses. They used to repair furnaces and window air conditioning units in the days of HVAC, and then went on with the times as things progressed in HVAC technology. They are possibly the longest surviving heat and cooling system supplier in a local area. They decided to finally close their doors as the owners are too old to run it now and the teenagers had no interest in taking over the heating and cooling business. Sure, there are other chances to be able to have HVAC home services in the part including many independent HVAC companies. However, it will still never be the same as it was all these years. They became just a part of the part and community and it was just a “matter of fact” kind of thing knowing they were there and chances are, you’d be calling them every single time you wanted to buy a brand new central heating and A/C. Times change and things move on. And this is just another example of that.

So this was literally just in time to get a brand new central heating and A/C

I absolutely had a major close call recently, my central heating and A/C was getting close to breaking down once and for all with no repairs possible. I knew I had to get a new central heating and A/C but had been putting it off due to not having the money to do so. Well out of nowhere I found that our local HVAC supplier had a great heat and cooling system payment plan available to those who could not afford to get a brand new central heating and A/C unit. So I fully took advantage of this and ordered a brand new central heating and A/C under this heating and A/C payment plan that they had. I stressed the HVAC supplier to come out and both deliver and install it. Then what happened was the night before this was to transpire, my seasoned central heating and A/C finally had the major and final breakdown! I am not kidding! And I could not believe it! It was ok to get through the night because I had a portable a/c I was able to use to keep me cool and not have to go to the hotel. So this was literally just in time to get a brand new central heating and A/C. It must have been fate. Because all was great and enjoyable and the timing was just right! Things like this just do not happen every single day let me tell you!

The last time I had to stay at a hotel on business during the summer time weeks of the year it was good.

I have to say that I was pretty grateful that the hotel had some of the best and top of the line air conditioning around! With the temperatures being well over one hundred degrees, it was entirely important that the hotel had quality air conditioning in it, and otherwise I do not know what I would have done.

I may have gone out and bought a portable a/c of some sort just to make it through, or I may have requested that I be moved to another hotel by the supplier that I work for. But thankfully none of that had to come into play because the hotel had the entirely best, brand new and seriously powerful commercial heating and A/C equipment that cooled the entire hotel plus the rooms! Again, I was entirely grateful for this. I would stay at this hotel again any afternoon after experiencing the great indoor comfort that I did at this place. There is nothing like the most perfect indoor comfort at a hotel when it is super sizzling or super chilly outside. You need to have regulated temperatures inside no matter what if you want to keep your clients happy in any hotel in the world. Some hotels are not good at this while others do. I was just lucky that I was able to stay at a hotel where they had everything under control.

Have you ever stayed at a hotel that had poor heating or air conditioning? I have a few times while traveling on business.

It is not a fun thing let me tell you that! It makes your stay entirely uncomfortable.

As a matter of fact, I can remember one of the times I had to stay in a hotel that had poor air conditioning. What I ended up doing because it was so bad and I was there on business, was I went out to a local store and bought a portable a/c to run in our room. I could not leave the hotel and go and find another because the supplier I work for was paying for it. But with the portable a/c I was able to get by and it was all ok. I have known others who have stayed at hotels with bad HVAC. And they all said pretty much the same thing. Some did what I did and bought either a portable a/c or a portable space heating system to make it have somewhat indoor comfort. I absolutely believe hotels need to keep on top of things in order to keep people paying to stay there happy. It can eventually give a hotel a bad name if they always have poor heating or air conditioning. You never know how that can affect things. So if you are a hotel management person reading this, I would seriously always make sure your HVAC is working great!

It was an absolutely hot afternoon last Monday. We are talking well over one hundred degrees! Normally, anyone and everyone would not be happy with this, even with some kind of air conditioning. However for me, I had recently invested into the most brand new, modern and entirely powerful heating and A/C unit. Because of this, I was entirely able to have a pretty nice and smooth afternoon at home when the temperatures were over one hundred degrees. I just stayed at home and loved my central heating and A/C’s cooling. I kept some of the blinds closed to help keep the sun out, other than that, you would have no idea how sizzling it is outside if you were to have been in our home that afternoon. This is how enjoyable the air conditioning from our central heating and cooling equipment was doing. I absolutely have to say that I am thankful that I was able to invest in such a high quality, top of the line and all so powerful central heating and A/C unit. It was not simple to be able to afford such a high quality and super powered central heating and A/C on the budget I am on. But I pulled it off through a HVAC payment plan with our local heating and cooling supplier here in town. And this past Monday was the first time I absolutely enjoyed what I had gotten!

The one thing I have always wondered is if they will ever create floors that can cool your home.

Same concept as radiant floors except they are air conditioning.

I do not know how this can be done using the same HVAC technology to save money on energy use, but I know there has to be a way! Imagine if you could have both radiant floors and air conditioned floors. This would completely eliminate the need for central heating and A/Cs and would save you a whole bunch of money on energy use all together. This would be the absolute best thing that would ever be created or introduced in today’s HVAC technology if it was to happen. I could be thinking the impossible here, but deep down I guess there has to be a way for this to become possible. If they came up with all kinds of other amazing HVAC technology I am almost certain they are experimenting with this system I have in my head. I could not be the only person in the whole wide world that thought of it. There had to be more professional people in the world of HVAC technology that have thought of this. At least I am seriously hoping so. Heating and air conditioning technology is seriously due for something totally amazing like this as it has been a while since something happened like what I am saying.

I have been an independent HVAC specialist for the last 10 years.

And one thing I can always pride myself on is the fact that I have never in all this time been late for a HVAC appointment.

I take my clients seriously and will always ensure that I am on time and sharp to the minute! Unless it is an emergency HVAC repair call, I always can tell exactly when I will arrive, let the customer know and I will always be there exactly at that time per minute or possibly even arrive a little early if they are open to that and available. This is why I have good business as an independent HVAC specialist. Because I am known for our promptness and the quality HVAC home services that I supply to my clients. I will always make sure that whatever their HVAC needs are will be met. If there is a different opportunity that I can not maintain their central heating and A/C same afternoon, I will not rack up a bill making them pay a lot of currency for me sitting there doing nothing. I will tell them the minute I find out and be on our way. Just charging them for the amount of time I was there. Even if it is only a lousy 40 bucks or something like that. Honesty and quality HVAC home repair goes a long way!

I have to give my opinion on radiant floors after having them myself for over a year now.

I seriously think that radiant floors are the future of whole home heating! Right now the price of radiant floors are expensive and not everyone can afford them.

But I think that in time, radiant floors are going to go the same way that central HVAC did about 25 years ago, which is that the prices will come down to where the average working class person can afford to get radiant floors for their home. It will be the way that everyone heats their homes in the future I think! Central air conditioning will still exist for cooling until someone comes up with another more energy efficient concept, but the central heating and A/Cs will no longer be that, then they will be just rest alone central air conditioning units. Your heating will be taken care of from radiant floors throughout the home, and ever since I have had radiant floors not only has our weekly bills been super low in the chilly winter time weeks of the year, but also the way the radiant floors heat our home is like no other form of heating I have ever experienced. Everything is so nice and hot with no chilly spots in the home whatsoever. Also I have to say that the radiant floors give off a better form of heating than central heating and A/C’s gas furnaces do.

I was initially interested in going completely ductless for our HVAC.

When I found out the cost of what everything would be I found that you have to be rich in order to even afford it! First off, you would have to invest in more than 2 ductless mini split a/cs if you have a big home like I have.

And right there you are talking almost 6 figures! Then on top of all of that, you will have to have each and every one of those converted to a ductless mini split heating and A/C since they have for whatever reason made ductless mini split heating and A/Cs. I guess it is a scam to be honest. I mean, if it is possible to call your local HVAC supplier to send out a certified heat and cooling system specialist to convert a ductless mini split a/c to a ductless heating and A/C, why can’t they just make them an all in one in the factory and save the consumer tons of money? I know they would make better sales and much more money rather than restricting such a thing to the rich only. It is the same concept as whole home air cleaners in terms of cost, so forget ductless HVAC if you are not a millionaire or super well off. I know I have! I will just have to stick with my central heating and A/C equipment for the time being.
