Becoming a mom was both the best and hardest thing that I have ever done. I cannot believe how difficult it is to just clean the house while having three little ones running around. I love my children so much, and I would not trade my job for the world, but that does not mean it is easy. Before I had our first baby, I was determined to keep the house clean no matter how many children I would have. It is so much easier said than done. It is difficult to find the time to clean. It seems like the day is taken up by just feeding my kids and keeping them from injuring themselves. There are so many things that have been neglected for the past couple of years, so I made a list of all of them so that I could at least try to accomplish them slowly. One of the first things that I put on the list was to clean out the HVAC vents in our house. I have seen my children throw food and toys down in the vents, and I have literally never cleaned them. I decided to finally clean them yesterday, and let me tell you, they were so gross. I cannot believe that our house did not stink because I found so much rotten food. I found cheese, crackers, grapes, and all sorts of other foods that I could not even identify. In one vent in my living room, I found three shoes. They had been missing for well over a year. After seeing that, I am determined to clean out the HVAC vents more often. I put them on my monthly cleaning lists in hopes that they will get done at least a few times a year.

I love my job.

Well, I love it most of the year.

I work for a landscaping business, and I love being able to spend most of my days outside. I actually started working for this company when I was only sixteen. They pay pretty well, and I really enjoy my job which makes a huge difference. I have friends who absolutely dread going to work everyday, and I feel really bad for them. I have learned so much through doing landscaping, and I have been able to be of help to others who could not afford to hire a company to help them. During the winter months, we actually do mostly plowing and shoveling snow for our customers. When I first started working there, I did not believe that we would be able to get enough work for all of us during the winter months, but that is far from the case. We get a lot of snow here, and it keeps us quite busy. I have decided that my furnace is my best friend during the wintertime. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing it feels to come home to a warm house after being outside in a blizzard all day. This happened to me and a friend just yesterday. We worked for about twelve hours outside trying to help our customers in a terrible blizzard. It was quite intense. The only thing that kept us going was dreaming of a nice warm house to go home to. It was a long day, but it eventually ended, and we came home to a warm house and just collapsed. I literally slept on the living room floor the entire night right in front of an HVAC vent. It was wonderful.

My whole life I had told myself that I would never live in an apartment.

I have no idea why I did not want to live in an apartment.

I had friends who lived in apartments when I was younger, and I always went over to their houses’ to play without even thinking about the fact that they lived in apartments. My parents did talk bad about their early years of marriage when they lived in a couple of different apartments, so maybe that is why I never wanted to live in one. Well I moved out of my parents house as soon as I graduated college, and I moved into an apartment. I have not had a very good experience so far. The furnace in the apartment does not do a very good job of keeping the place warm, especially my bedroom. I told my landlord about the problem, but he just commented that none of his other tenants had complained about any heating issues. I decided to just buy two space heaters to help keep my apartment at about seventy degrees. I put one in my bedroom, and I put the other in the living room. They do help warm up those areas for sure, but I am always nervous about using them because I have heard so many horror stories about space heaters catching houses on fire. I have another reason to be worried about having space heaters now, and that is tripping over their cords. I tripped over the cord of the space heater in my bedroom, and I ended up breaking my arm. It was quite the experience. Needless to say, I hope to move out of my apartment as soon as possible.

I literally had a dream about having A/C last night.

I cannot even express how gleeful I am to transport into our current house. I absolutely cherish where my friend and I live now, but I know that is only for passionate reasons. The home my friend and I are in now absolutely is not all that great. It is over one hundred years old, as well as it has a lot of complications. We don’t own any land right now which also stinks, but our current home is much newer as well as greater. It also sits on almost three acres of land, as well as I am so gleeful to transport in. I know my number one part of our current home is the fact that it has A/C. I know that may sound funny to some people, but my friend and I have never had A/C in our house. The home is so aged that my friend and I are afraid to run something like an a/c in it. We just absolutely aren’t sure that the wiring in our home could handle that much power going to one locale. It has been quite irritated during the Summer months in this house. It gets entirely warm, especially upstairs. I wish that my friend and I could transport even sooner, but I am willing to wait if it means my friend and I get a nice home with A/C. I literally had a dream about having A/C last night. I know, it is sort of absurd how much I want A/C, but I just can’t help it. I have wanted A/C for so long, as well as now, my friend and I are finally moving into a home with A/C. It is going to be a pressing adjustment for sure, but I can’t wait.

I used to use my space heating system every single afternoon 24/7.

It was like my best friend.

I cherish being nice as well as hot wherever I went, so I took my space heating system all throughout the home with me. It is quite cold for most of the year where I am living, so having a space heating system was absolutely nice. I used my space heating system up until last month. My little boy, Sam, is now six months old, as well as he gets around a bit more than he used to. He still is not quite crawling yet, but he is doing pretty well, finding ways to scoot across the floor. Well, I had my space heating system on in the kitchen just like I usually do, as well as somehow little Sam got all the way to the space heating system on the opposite side of the room within just a minute or so. I literally turned my back for just a minute or so to scrub something, as well as next thing I knew, Sam was screaming. He touched the space heating system as well as burnt his little hand. I haven’t used a space heating system since that afternoon. I know that it was my fault, as well as I am so aggravated with myself about it. I don’t know that I will ever use my space heating system again. I am way too paranoid about it now. Thankfully, the space heating system doesn’t get entirely hot, so it did not even leave a mark on his hand, but I still feel so terrible about it, but no more space boilers for this momma.

I went an entire month this winter time without any heat in my car. It was quite a irritated month, to say the least. I have an hour drive to work as well as back each afternoon. It was so cold, as well as I dreaded having to drive anywhere, especially to work. My partner tried to figure out why the heat wasn’t working, but he just couldn’t diagnose the problem, however he is not a mechanic, but he has done some mechanical work in the past, so he thought he would at least supply it a try. I wish that he could have fixed the heating issue, but he just couldn’t. We ended up taking my car to a mechanic as well as asking them to diagnose the problem. We paid them to tell us what was wrong, but my partner wanted to service it. They told us the problem, as well as my partner was able to update the part that they told him to for a lot less money than they would have charged us. We were so gleeful to have heat again, but when my friend and I turned the heat on in the car, it still did not work, then long story short, the mechanic had misdiagnosed the problem. My partner did not do anything wrong. He updated the part that they told him to. It was just the wrong part. We ended up having to take it back to the mechanic, as well as they fixed it, but it was super valuable. I want to complain about it in my heart, but at the same time, it is super nice to have heat in my car once again.

I have the most humid home on earth it seems like.

I have no idea why my home gets so humid, but it does almost the entire summer, fall, as well as Springtime.

winter time is the only time of year that I don’t have to worry about my home being super humid. I have a central A/C system which you would know would take care of the moisture, but it does not do a entirely great job. I am sure that if I did not have A/C at all, it would be much worse, so I am thankful to at least have some type of A/C in my house. I unquestionably called an HVAC serviceman a few years ago to come out as well as check out my a/c. They could not find anything wrong with it. They said that it seemed to be running in tip top shape. They had no explanation for why my home is so humid. I was sort of aggravated that I had to pay for an HVAC supplier to come over just to tell me that there was nothing wrong with my a/c. I have been using three dehumidifiers in my home for the past few years because that is the only way that I can manage all of this humidity. I am so sick of emptying the dehumidifiers. It is absolutely a pain to have to empty them every single afternoon. I could entirely empty them twice a afternoon, that is how terrible it is. I am thinking about moving just because of this humidity issue. I am not sure yet, but I am seriously considering it.

I cherish the summertime so much; My partner hates the Summer because he does not like the heat, but it is hard for him to stay cool during the Summer months especially because he works outside. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for him, but he absolutely loves his job, so he does not want to quit to work somewhere inside. I don’t like the heat entirely much either, but I do like A/C. I know that sounds absolutely weird, but I like the summertime just because I like A/C. I told my partner that if I could use A/C all year long without feeling weird about it, I would. I have used my a/c during the Springtime as well as fall when it was still only like fifty degrees outside. I just cherish the feeling of an air conditioned house. My number one is when my kitchen is air conditioned. It is hard to justify using an a/c in my kitchen during the winter time months, so I just don’t even try anymore, then the reason that I say anymore is because I used to try as well as justify it to my partner. I used to use an a/c in our kitchen during the winter time just because I liked the feeling of it, but my partner got aggravated with me for wasting electricity. I know he is entirely right about it being a waste of money as well as energy. winter time can not pass fast enough for me. I just can’t wait for the summertime when I can get out my a/cs as well as have a nice cool home again.

I have wanted air conditioner for so long, plus now, we are finally moving into a apartment with air conditioner. It is going to be a giant adjustment for sure, but I can’t wait.
