I am so proud of myself. I just graduated heating and air conditioning school and I now have my certification to become a heat and a/c specialist. This is the beginning of a new life for me. Or I should say the beginning of my adult life. I just got out of high school last year and went right into taking the heating and air conditioning course so I could get on with my life, find work and begin a career as a heating and air conditioning specialist. I have been putting in a lot of applications to different heating and cooling companies all around the area who welcome new and fresh heat and a/c experts into the business. I have a few call backs that set up interviews for next week. I will decide on which heating and air conditioning company i will work for based on the cash offer that I get. Whichever is the best is what I will take. Eventually I may want to go and start my very own heating and cooling business. That would make me an independent heating and air conditioning contractor if I went that route. However, that is long down the line as I need to get experience in the heating and cooling field working before I would feel confident enough to do that. I can not wait to get started in my career as a certified heating and air conditioning specialist at one of these local heating and cooling companies here in the town in which I live.

There was this country club I used to go to when I was younger to play golf.

The main thing I loved about it was the central heating and air conditioning that they had in the club house of the country club. After a nice long game of golf I could go in there and relax in either the nice cool air conditioning or the nice warm heating. All depending on what time of the year that it was. At this time having quality central air conditioning in places were rare because central heat and a/c was so new on the HVAC market. And the fact the country club had central heating and air conditioning was really great. I especially loved the summer time months of the year. Because it would get pretty hot sometimes. I would go to the country club a lot this time of year just to hang out in the club house to take in the wonderful air conditioning and not even play a game of golf! At my home at the time there was no central air conditioning system. Only a window air conditioning unit. And the cooling from that window air conditioning unit that I had was nothing like the central air conditioning that the country club had. They had a commercial heating and air conditioning system which was even more powerful than the standard residential heating and air conditioning systems that were very pricey at that time. Heating and air conditioning is why I went to this country club for many years.

Every time my central heating and air conditioning system has been turning on lately there has been rattling sounds coming from one specific air vent. It is the one in my bathroom. I was wondering why this was so I decided to do some research on the internet about this. And the thing it kept pointing to was that the air vent to my central heating and air conditioning system was loose. So I decided to go and get my tools and ladder to go and check it out. Lo and behold it was in fact a loose air vent in my bathroom that was causing the loud sounds of rattling every single time my central heating and air conditioning system went on. So I went and tightened the screws with the correct screwdriver and it became nice and firm. I then went to turn on my central heating and air conditioning system again to see if the rattling was still going to be happening with the air vent in the bathroom. And now the loud noise had stopped! It was indeed the fact that the air vent to my central heating and air conditioning system was loose. It was a good thing I found this out in time. That air vent could have come crashing down and killed someone, maybe even me! Those things are very heavy. So know at least I know if I hear a rattle coming from the air vents of my central heating and air conditioning system to go up there and fix them right away!

New heating

One thing I never knew was that there was so much involved when installing a brand new central heating and air conditioning system unit.

I found this out by watching the installation of my very own brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system. The removal of the old heat and a/c unit is a real task. They had to go up in the attic and break down an air handler and then go up and install the new one which was for the new central heating and air conditioning system. Then on top of that they had to smash down the hood of the attic just to get the new air handler up there. Then following this they built a new hood for my attic when they were done! This was all before the actual new heating and air conditioning system came into play. I was really blown away by all the work involved and it gave me a whole new appreciation for heating and air conditioning specialists and what they do for their work. Their job is very detailed when it comes to installing a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system. I always thought that a heat and a/c installation was much simpler than this, but it was not. All I do know is that I could never be a heating and air conditioning specialist because this stuff is way too complicated for me and my mind. Maybe if I went to HVAC school it would be different. But I am not planning on doing that.

I went to lunch today with a co worker at this diner here in town. It was a very hot day and when we entered the diner to have lunch we expected to be greeted with quality central air conditioning. However this was not the case. It seemed that the central heating and air conditioning system in the diner was not working right. So the air conditioning was very minimal to say the least. Still we decided to have lunch there because it was close to work and we had minimal time to eat. The air conditioning was even worse where we ended up being seated. The air vents were not pumping out any central air conditioning and we were very uncomfortable. It got to the point where we asked them to just prepare our order for take out and we ended up eating in the car. Because the central air conditioning was that bad we had to do this. There was no way we would even be able to eat in there. It was a very uncomfortable lunch. One thing I personally decided was that I was never going to come to this diner again unless I got word that they fixed their central heating and air conditioning system unit. I do not know how anyone would even be able to stand being in there, the workers included. I guess that is why the place did not have too many people eating and there was a lot of take out going on. If you do not have quality heating and air conditioning, no wonder!

When it comes to thermostats things have certainly changed. The new way of thermostats is the smart thermostat. Smart thermostats seems to be what everyone is buying now days for thermostats to control their central heating and air conditioning systems. The days of dial thermostats and even standard digital thermostats are a thing of the past now. When you go to buy a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system and if you do not have a thermostat already to go with it, the only thermostat offered is a smart thermostat. Now you still can buy dial thermostats and standard digital thermostats but you have to go to an outlet store to do so. Heating and air conditioning companies in my area do not even sell anything but smart thermostats today. I was not too happy about being forced to get a smart thermostat to be honest, but once I did I really got the hang of it. And even I am used to the new way of smart thermostats to run my central heating and air conditioning system unit. It is very convenient as well. I have never had such convenience when it comes to running my central heating and air conditioning system unit ever since I got a smart thermostat for my home. It really is the new way and the future of thermostats. It is also the future of heating and air conditioning in general. I do actually recommend getting a smart thermostat on your own. You will like it.

I normally would never do something like this but I decided to take a chance.

I was flipping through ebay and had come across a portable air conditioning system for sale.

It was a used portable air conditioning system and the price was only 80 bucks! If you know anything about portable air conditioning systems you are going to be paying at least four hundred bucks at best to get a portable a/c in your home. With this being so cheap and being used I was unsure if I should even buy it. It almost seemed too good to be true. In the description it did say that it was fully tested and fully working. So if it did not, I could file a complaint and get my money back. So this is why I decided to take a chance and buy the used portable air conditioning system unit. When it got to my house after buying it from the ebay sale I plugged it right in and wanted to test it out. And boy was I shocked! The portable air conditioning system actually looked and worked good as new. It did not seem used at all. I hope that I will not have any surprises and have it break down on me once I start using it on a regular basis. But I guess that is the chance I will have to take since I will not be using the portable air conditioning system on a regular basis for a few months.

All this climate change stuff is really insane to tell you the truth.

I do not know what is going on but it is sure making me confused.

For instance, usually this time of the year it was starting to get cold. But now it is almost one hundred degrees outside. I used to be turning on my central heating about now but instead I am turning on my central air conditioning system unit instead. But then the real crazy thing is in the weeks ahead there will be one day where it will be hot outside and the next will be cold and then the day after that back to hot! My central heating and air conditioning system is sure going to get a big workout I will tell you that much. And because of this when the weather does finally settle into it being cold out, I am going to have to call the local heating and air conditioning company and have them send out one of their most certified and friendly heating and cooling specialists to come and do a heating and cooling tune up on my central heating and air conditioning system. With all the overworking it will be doing flipping back and forth between cold and hot, heating and air conditioning from day to day an HVAC tune up and check up is most certainly going to be needed. I do not think I have ever experienced such a thing in my whole entire life. This is all because of the climate change and possibly global warming as well. I will have to see what happens.

I finally decided that this year I am going to be investing in an electric fireplace.

I have been wanting to get an electric fireplace for a while now and I just haven’t got around to doing it and making that investment.

My goal is to have the electric fireplace for the winter time months this year and the holiday season. I had a fireplace growing up that was a real authentic fireplace. The real authentic fireplace was really nice to decorate at the holiday times of the year. I will want to do the same with the electric fireplace I am going to be buying. I found a really nice and perfect sized electric fireplace on sale at this one store in my area. It is a great deal compared to the regular prices of the electric fireplaces. So what I plan to do is put the electric fireplace on layaway and then purchase the electric fireplace around the top of November. That is when I will have the money and it will be just about 1 month before the holiday season hits. That is also the time that it will be getting cold too. So the timing will be just right in many ways. The electric fireplace I can also use as a space heater in my living room. It will make it so I do not have to run my central heating and air conditioning system’s heating as much. I am really looking forward to getting the electric fireplace for my home this coming winter. It is going to be a really great thing.

I could not believe that these things actually worked this easy

I tried out washable air filters for the first time last month and I have to tell you I am super impressed with them! When I first heard about washable air filters I was not sure if it was all hype and if they really worked as they say they did. After all, the concept of washing a used up air filter sounds a little far-fetched to be able to use it again as if it were brand new. Well, the washable air filters were on sale at my local hardware store and I decided to buy some to give them a try. If they were bad I could always return them and go and get the regular air filters that I usually buy. There was no need for that though because the washable air filters worked really great! When I went to wash one the first time it was all used up it cleaned really easy. Then I was able to put that air filter right back into my central heating and air conditioning system as if it were a brand new filter I just pulled out of the package. I could not believe that these things actually worked this easy. Now that I know washable air filters are amazing I will keep on buying washable air filters instead of the standard air filters moving forward. In the long run this will save me money on air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system unit too. I can wash the washable air filters up to 4 times before they need to be replaced and I think it is really great!
